He has played in bands and as a solo artist for over thirty years, performing in many venues from pubs and clubs to concert halls in the UK, US and Europe.

A self-contained artist, he uses a compact 400w system that delivers excellent sound for most size venues. He can also supply stage lighting if required at no extra cost.

Technical Info

What are your basic technical requirements?

I need ideally 2m by 3m as performance space, 1 x 13 amp power socket and 1 parking space


Do you provide sound and lighting equipment?

Completely self contained with a compact 400w PA system and lights if requested (a further 13 amp power socket is needed for this)


What information do you require about a venue?

Audience capacity, postcode and address, contact details for the booking


Can you provide a Spotify/DJ service before and between your sets?

Yes, I can provide "interval music" before and in between sets.

Which artists have you been most influenced by, who is your favourite artist and what is the greatest song of all time?

Frank Sinatra, Kenny Rogers, Bee Gees. Favourite artist is George Harrison. Greatest song? Bohemian Rhapsody.


What's your previous experience and how did you start gigging?

Originally guitarist/singer as a teenager, played in many function bands over the years. Started solo singing when backing tracks were available and of high quality. I also play bass in a successful country rock band.
I have performed folk, country, swing, pop and rock as a solo artist , performing at private events, weddings, pubs and clubs around the UK, US and Europe.


What's your favourite type of event to play at?

Private events - birthdays, bat/bar mitvahs, weddings. The guests always want to enjoy themselves and it's great to get them involved.

Performance Info

What are your typical setup and performance times?

Setup around 30 minutes, including sound check. I like to be set up at least 15 minutes before performing. I normally play 2 x 45 minutes, but I am quite happy to entertain other set durations.


Are you happy to perform outside?

Outside performances are fine provided there is shelter (gazebo, marquee etc) , power supply, and a relatively flat performance area.


Do the clients have a say in what you play or is it a set repertoire list only?

I can learn specific songs if given sufficient notice (normally at least 14 days).
Otherwise I generally prepare a set list according to the information given by client.


How do previous clients most commonly describe your performances?

Clients would describe me as having relaxing style that draws audiences in, and gauges the mood so he can change the pace and variety.


What are your maximum performance times?

3x 45 minutes or 2 x 60 minutes
