Rob has used his incredible talents as a pianist to help us as a family. First and foremost with his friendly and nurturing approach to piano lessons for our son - who has passed all of his tests with distinctions! Rory enjoys his lessons with Rob immensely and has learned a love of the instrument that we had previously tried and failed to inspire. Rob also provided excellent entertainment for my wife's 40th birthday party with a set of classic piano tunes to add a touch of class to the event. he is approachable and kind and know exactly where to pitch his lessons; I really couldn't recommend Rob highly enough for lessons and events.

Rob is not only a genuinely lovely guy. He is also one of the best pianists I have had the pleasure of playing with. I have booked him to play keys for me on multiple gigs, most recently at a sold out show in Derbyshire on 4th March playing funk, soul and Motown classics. His knowledge of genres and artists is vast. But I think his ability to play such a wide range of styles is what makes him invaluable to a learning musician. He is a treat and a joy to be around and someone I would recommend to anyone.

Rob is one of the best musicians I’ve ever met, and a very nice guy as well. I’ve shared a stage with him many times, and whether he plays keys, bass or guitar, his performances are always unbelievably good.

Robert Dimbleby, The man, The Musician.

I first met Robert Dimbleby on a rehearsal with a local Derbyshire blues band named "The King B's" in 2015, when Robert was still a teenager, I was immediately struck by his technical facility, but was most impressed with his soulful musical feel and how pleasant he was to work with. We ended up jamming a couple of Herbie Hancock tunes and I decided I had to have this guy in my band!!

Robert joined my band SoulDeep shortly after and has remained with my band ever since, playing on numerous gigs and studio recordings, covering the likes of Herbie Hancock, Chick Corea, McCoy Tyner, The Crusaders, Donny Hathaway, Joe Sample, Tower of Power, Stevie Wonder, James Brown, plus numerous Motown, soul and jazz classics.

Over the years I have observed Robert develop and grow as a musician and a man, I cannot speak highly enough of him. The perfect musician and a genuinely beautiful soul.

I hired Rob to accompany me on piano for a gig at The Park Plaza Hotel Westminster. The gig was 3 x 40 min sets of background jazz at a cocktail bar. Rob immediately knew all the repertoire and we met for the first time for a quick rehearsal just a day before the gig. I was instantly brought to ease when I met him, his attitude was fantastic and he is a brilliant pianist with tons of experience. Another great thing is he has a extensive repertoire and can easily adapt to any changes you may have throughout the gigs. I will definitely hire him again for any future gigs. Thanks Rob !

Rob played at our wedding and was completely fantastic. He took all of our requests and created an awesome medley of show-tunes.
