Frequently Asked Questions

What is the best gig you've ever done and the best venue you've ever played at?

We have performed many private parties. One of the best gigs was at a 50th Birthday party in Woodford. The crowd was going bananas, from the first chord to the last.

Which artists have you been most influenced by, who is your favourite artist and what is the greatest song of all time?

RockEnergy's influences range from rock legends like The Rolling Stones, The Who, Oasis, Guns N' Roses.
Our set is a tribute to the spirit of rock 'n' roll- gritty, powerful and packed with passion.

What's your previous experience and how did you start gigging?

We have been professional musicians for over 40 years. Nick started a band at school from the age of 12. He turned professional at the age of 19 and signed a major recording contract and publishing deal. He has toured in every major city in the Uk, Ireland and Europe. John has toured with many function bands as a vocalist and harmonica player.

What's your favourite type of event to play at?

We love playing all events, especially milestone birthdays or anniversary events. People are there to enjoy themselves and we like taking our show to new places and love the connection with a new crowd.

What are your typical setup and performance times?

We are flexible with performance times. We do like to get to the venue early to sound check all our equipment.
We normally perform 3 x 45 mins or 2 x 60 min sets, but happy to discuss times around the clients needs.
