It was so special to both me and my husband to have Sam a part of our wedding day. Sam did a beautiful job of singing songs before, during and after our ceremony, she honestly has the most beautiful voice. For anyone looking for a singer for an upcoming event they have, I would recommend booking Sam. From booking through to after our big day, no issue or communication was too much, Sam was always there if we needed her. Sam sang for us when our daughter got married. She incorporated some very special songs with my mother of the bride speech. Sam was absolutely amazing. She has a beautiful voice.

Sam was honestly a joy to work with from start to finish! Not only is her voice angelic (I could honestly listen to her sing for hours on end and not get bored!), her choice of songs was spot on and I had so many amazing comments throughout the mingle about just how great she was. Sam performed at our wedding reception at Sandbach Town Hall in September. She was so helpful in assisting with our song choices on the run up to our wedding, even learning a new song for our first dance. On the day Sam was professional during her performance and we really appreciate how accommodating she was whilst working around our photographs and speeches. Sam Lyon is a fantastic vocalist, guitarist and songwriter! She is incredibly professional and personable. Perfect for any event.

I saw Sam play at Middlewich FAB festival and thought it would be great if she could sing at my 40th birthday party. Had a brief chat and worked through some songs to play from her extensive collection. She got back to me very quickly and I was very happy with the booking procedure. Sam turned up on the night nice and early and was set to go as soon as was feasible on the night (with a great mixed collection of songs from acoustic Beyonce and George Ezra etc) extremely charming and was very nice that she obviously loves performing as her job. Lots of guests commented on how good she was and I would have no hesitation in booking her again or recommending to someone else.

I booked Sam for my mums 70th birthday meal and was so happy. From first contacting her she couldn't have been more responsive and helpful and she helped to suggest songs & timings. Her delivery at the party was wonderful and she got it perfect for the size of room. Everybody commented how good she was and how lovely it was to have a live singer!

We were introduced to Sam as our singer we had previously booked unfortunately had to pull out 5 weeks prior to our wedding. From this moment onwards we were in safe hands, Sam was extremely professional, helpful and accommodating. We forwarded all our requests to her and she started working on them straight away. The communication was great throughout and on the day she blew everyone away with her talent. Her music was beautiful and was a perfect setting for our day. A lot of our guests thought it was a CD at first, she was that good! She played for us at the beginning and end of our ceremony and throughout our wedding breakfast. We asked Sam Lyon to do some singing for us as we had heard her lovely voice earlier on in the year. We both agreed she was perfect for the job to enlighten the mood at the Lion Keys in July 2017 on our wedding day. We agreed a price together within our budget and she more than delivered and we would of course highly recommend her to all other wedding couples.

Sam played two brilliant acoustic sets at our wedding. We were fortunate that the weather was kind to us and Sam played out on the terrace. Her voice carried beautifully across the terrace and it created a great atmosphere for the early evening drinks and mingling. We spoke with Sam regularly in the build up to the wedding and even though she has a vast repertoire to call upon, she agreed to master a song, (at short notice), which we both really appreciated! Sam’s last song was our ‘'first dance’' which was performed beautifully. Given the quality of Sam’s voice she is very reasonably priced and she was always quick to respond to queries as and when they popped up.

I hired Sam for my wedding at Northcote Manor on 26th August. I haven't got enough words to describe how fantastic she was. Everyone was so impressed they wanted her details, including the hotel! From the beginning she was professional, friendly and so accommodating - even learning songs for us that weren't on her playlist.

Met Sam at our local pub originally and we both felt the same, shall we ask if she could sing for us on our special day as she simple has natural talent. She agreed and the paperwork was simple and price agreeable. She sang for us at the Lion Quays and was very much part of those special moments that you will cherish in your hearts forever. Middlewich was treated to a Taste of Sam Lyon when she performed for the invited guests, sponsors and winners at the Town’s Oscars ceremony in early March. Sam wowed the audience with the range of her songs, the skill of her guitar playing and the sheer melody and dreaminess of her singing. She brought smiles to people’s faces and joy to their hearts.

Straight away I thought Karen Carpenter then Dana the 70’s Irish vocalist.
Sam has a beautiful voice and stage presents, some might say angelic? Yes Angelic, that’s it, a look and sound that captures you the minute she starts to sing.
I’ve watch Sam’s audiences on many occasion and they look mesmerised as the sight of this tiny person with this beautiful voice. It’s that serendipity moment, finding something of great value by chance. I can only say that watching Sam Lyon for the first time is like watching your first sunrise and being overwhelmed with the gradual warmth of that beam of light that shines on your face. I know, it sounds cheesy but it’s exactly how I felt when I first heard her and I’m a Rock and Blues guy to the bone, but this little ray of sunshine is truly an experience you won't regret going to see. Sam Lyon performed at Corks Out Knutsford on the 31st December 2016 for our NYE celebrations and what an amazing night she made it. All of our customers enjoyed her style and song selection. She played two sets and even though she was incredible to start with, she just seemed to get better and better throughout the night. I lost count of the amount of customers coming up to me after her performance telling me how good they thought she was and how she really made the evening perfect - and I have to agree with them.

I booked Sam Lyon for my Mother's 80th birthday and also my Brother-in-law's 60th birthday in which there was all different ages attended. Sam delivered an excellent afternoon of entertainment catering for all with her own music and songs along with well known covers. When you listen to Sam Lyon performing live, there is a certain warmth which she manages to create and spread through the entire room. Her voice is simply beautiful with no note out of place and her music is both soothing and thoughtful. Absolutely wonderful to experience and will have every listener enchanted.

Sam's voice is fantastic! Such amazing relaxed control of range and vibrato. And she can do it live too, I heard the song 'Window' and 'Sonic Boom' live at The London Bar and it's very rare for me to hear a non professional live recording where the quality is irrelevant due to how strong the performance is. Sam clearly takes her craft seriously and it definitely shows through on her 2 EP's AND at live gigs, and not many people do themselves justice live. The control Sam has is so calming, changing between notes seems effortless and the guitar and strings are a lovely accompaniment. I think Sam is the only act who I would go out of my way to listen to live, It just seems like it would be a pleasant hour.

Sam considered our song choices, used sound levels that suited the occasion so that everyone could hear her clearly, and positioned herself so that everyone could see her. She is extremely polite and courteous and has a professional competence and a flexible approach.

Charming and talented, Sam instantly grabs the attention of everybody in the room. One of the best young artists we have ever had down to play.

Sam Lyon performed at ‘PHABSTOCK’ and ‘MUSIC NIGHTS’. She not only performed superbly at the events, when she finished she stayed and interacted with the audience. All of the people that I spoke to after the event were complimenting and praising how good she was. Sam's timbre is unique, beautiful, and warm. She has an amazing vocal range and her voice is characterful, and soulful, she knows the formula to a perfect pop song that's a sure crowd favourite. Having watched Sam play a number of times I cant help but get more and more drawn in to her performances, her soft soothing vocals are heart warming, Sams lyrics are also play a huge part in her outstanding performances as her songs are so well constructed and you cannot help but admire her talent and craft as a lyricist. Sam is a singer-songwriter that I've seen develop from a young age. We've played on the same bill for many years and I've always been a fan of her singing style, her catchy songs and the reaction she draws from an awestruck crowd.

Her professionalism, business-sense and lovely personality are second only to her insatiable willingness to succeed and her unquestionable talent. She's a songwriter and performer who deserves to do very well and I look forward to seeing what's in store for her in the future.
