Solo acoustic guitar and vocals with occasional looping. Able to fit any vibe from chilled out afternoon to full on party but specialising in high energy sing-along dancefloor fillers.
Highly interactive performances with flexible setlists drawn from a catalogue of ofer 350 songs make the audience feel they're getting a unique experience, not just a cookie cutter show.

I played in famous celebrity's back garden for a charity event once. A VERY big name was headlining the event in the evening and I got to sing one of his biggest hits for his wife. That was pretty cool.
Lots of various bands and artists were influences when I was younger. These days, my favourite songs are the ones that get the best response from an audience.
If you love Never Gonna Give You Up by Rick Astley, then I'll love playing it for you!
I'd been a guitar player for about 5 years, playing in bands as a sideman and doing some backing vocals. One day my wife and I were in Covent Garden watching a solo singer guitarist playing. I was thinking that I could probably do that when my wife turned to me and said, "You could do that". So I did.
Any party, wedding or gig where the audience are looking to have a good time and be involved with the gig. I want them to feel they're part of the experience not just people being entertained.
2x45s or 2x60s is standard but 3 sets works well if you want a gradual ramp up of energy over the course of the evening.
I normally arrive an hour before the start time though, dependant on set-up, can often be ready much quicker.
Yes. Absolutely. As long as there's power and an option for a quick relocation in the event of bad weather.
I love taking requests. In advance of the event works well as they can be planned and insterted into a well planned set. That said, there's nothing better than an improptu audience request that you can busk on the spot much to everyone's delight.
Clients are welcome to request certain artists or genres for me to play during the event. I will always do my best to customise the experience for them. The only caveat I'd add is that not every song is appropriate at every stage of an event. I work hard to use the songs I play to curate the energy in the room so I reserve the right to choose what I play when.
In their own words.....
"We got married on 30th December and about 10 days before my wedding I was let down by my band! Scoobtastic came to the rescue! And he was a STAR! A great entertainer that the wedding crowd loved! We didn’t want him to finish! A great mix of music everyone!"
"We had seen Scoobtastic perform at a number of events and he provided the entertainment at a friend's birthday party. When it came to thinking about what we wanted to do for my recent birthday party, he was the obvious choice for us.
We had a great party which was made all the better by Scoobtastic's varied repertoire and participation with my various friends and family attempts at collaboration!! "
"Everyone was hugely impressed and it really made the evening that much better! It can't be often you get Dire Straits and Katy Perry on the same request list, but like a bearded cross between Clapton and Madonna, you carried it off perfectly."
