To ensure a smooth performance, please provide the following where possible:
Power: At least 2 x standard 13A power sockets within 2m of the performance area.
Space: A clear, safe performance area of approximately 2m x 2m with a stable, level surface.
Access: Minimum 45–60 minutes access before the performance for setup and soundcheck, plus parking/unloading close to the venue.
Weather: If outdoors, the performance area must be covered and protected from rain and direct sunlight.
Yes have my own lighting and full PA system.
I need to know any directions that will help us find the venue and find the right place to load in our equipment. I also need to be informed if there’s a sound limiter in the venue.
Yes, I'm happy to play music from Spotify before, after and between our sets. I'm happy to choose the music or let the client choose the music. It isn't a DJ experience it's more of a background music feel so I don't mix the tracks or deal with requests etc.
The best gig I’ve ever done was when I got the chance to play on stage with Steve Craddock from Ocean Colour Scene — we performed a Beatles track together, which was an unforgettable experience. As for the best venue I’ve ever played at, that has to be Southampton’s O2 Guildhall. The atmosphere there is incredible, and playing on such a historic stage was a real highlight for me.
Some of my biggest influences are Stereophonics, Tom Petty, The Killers and Richard Ashcroft, to name just a few. My favourite artist changes all the time, but those are the ones who’ve had the most lasting impact on me. As for the greatest song of all time, I’d have to go with With or Without You by U2 it’s timeless.
I started out in an originals band when I was 14. We managed to land a management deal and a small record deal, and we played festivals all over the UK. After the band split, I moved into playing with a wedding band, performing across the UK and Europe. Since then, I’ve played over 1,000 shows, which has given me a huge amount of live experience and really shaped me as a performer.
I love all sort of events but I actually really enjoy playing wedding ceremonies. I feel like I can bring something to that time of day when people are getting excited for what's to come for the rest of the occasion and the night ahead.
My typical set up time is between 30-45mins. In terms of performance time, I usually play 2x45mins sets and this is what I offer as standard. I can perform for longer but this requires additional costs.
I'm happy to play outside but I ask for some sort of cover (marquee etc), a flat level surface and a power supply close to the performance area.
The clients are welcome to pick a set list from my repertoire or let me choose the music for them.
Previous clients often describe my performances as engaging and memorable. I play acoustic guitar and sing, but it’s far from boring. My sets are a mix of emotional, heartfelt songs and upbeat, singalong tunes that get everyone involved. I always aim to create a great atmosphere and leave a lasting impression.
