Frequently Asked Questions

What is the best gig you've ever done and the best venue you've ever played at?

My favourite gig was actually a Mamma Mia themed evening at Coombe Abbey that I performed as as a group with other performers the atmosphere was electric and we had people dancing and singing along with us for the entire evening!

Which artists have you been most influenced by, who is your favourite artist and what is the greatest song of all time?

I have so many musical influences from so many decades it’s hard to choose my favourite but I would say the biggest influences for me are Vera Lynn, Queen, Michael Jackson, Connie Francis and Julie Andrews. I would say the greatest song of all time is Bohemian Rhapsody.

What's your previous experience and how did you start gigging?

I’ve always dabbled since a teenager in amateur musical theatre style performances, being in choirs and gigs with other people however I started solo a couple of years ago in Carehomes and practised material and it went from there really, worked hard, pushed and pushed and haven’t looked back!

What's your favourite type of event to play at?

I adore performing for 1940s events such as The Black Country Museum. It’s always so special to sing your heart out to an audience that have put in so much effort to dress up and recreate the ‘good old days’ and see the museum come alive with beautiful music and people dancing and singing along with you.

Performance Info

What are your typical setup and performance times?

30 - 45 min set up for solo performances, for some bigger evening performances with lighting / sound desk required, this could be 60-90mins.

Are you happy to perform outside?

Yes! As long as I have access to power and a plan for cover in rain or harsh sunshine I’m happy to Perform anywhere.

My equi

Do the clients have a say in what you play or is it a set repertoire list only?

Yes I am always happy to take on suggestions as long as I have enough notice to learn new things. I will be very honest if there’s not a song I could provide.

How do previous clients most commonly describe your performances?

My precious clients have often said a lovely compliment “I could listen to you sing all day!”

Do you offer performance packages?

Yes, I often get asked by clients to perform multiple performances throughout a day/ evening. In this case I can provide you with a bespoke package suited to your event.

For clients/ venues that require multiple dates (e.g Halloween themed entertainment) I provide a bespoke price to include multiple dates.
