SJ is not your classic singer songwriter. Once you’ve heard SJ sing, you’ll understand why she’s been given the nickname ‘POWERHOUSE Stevie Ray Nicks’! SJ recorded her solo album in Nashville and has toured extensively across the UK, Europe, America and even Shanghai honing her craft.
Currently fronting the award-winning Americana Rock Indie band Morganway who are tipped for great things. “One of the best and most exciting prospects to emerge in a long time” (Maverick Magazine). SJ has been described as a “modern Nicks”, likened to “Joplin”, and a “female fronted Zeppelin”(Get Ready To Rock). Morganway have released three studio albums, supported artists such as Skunk Anansie and Belle & Sebastien. Their latest album ‘Kill The Silence’ reached #4 Independent Album Breakers Chart, #9 Americana Chart, #15 Independent Album Chart.
SJ has plenty of experience playing at function events and Weddings, accompanying herself on guitar and piano. She plays classic hits through the years, from 50s to modern day. She has played at prestigious venues such as Hard Rock Cafe, Ronnie Scott's, The Savoy and Grosvenor Hotel in London, as well as abroad in Europe in Switzerland, Italy, Spain, Germany & Portugal, and in Nashville, TN as well as Shanghai, China.

Yes, we’re completely self contained. We bring our own PA system to all of our gigs as well as a simple lighting rig if required.
Directions and parking for load in/out
Yes, we're happy to play music from spotify before, after and between our sets for an extra charge. Please enquire. We’re happy to choose the music ourselves or let the client choose the music.
The biggest crowd I have played to is Cropredy Festival (audience of 20,000) with my band Morganway. I have also been lucky enough to travel to Europe, China and America to sing.

We normally arrive 1-2 hours before the performance to set up, depending on how big our line-up is for the event. We normally perform 2 x 45 minutes or 2 x 60 minute sets. We’re happy to play a bit longer or shorter if requested.
Yes, we’re happy to play outside but we ask for cover (e.g.gazebo) in case of bad weather, a flat level surface and a power supply close to the performance area
We can learn specific songs before the event but we usually limit this to 2 songs. The clients are welcome to pick a set list from our repertoire or let us choose the music for them.
