Soul Kinda Wonderful, featuring Richie Sampson formed over a decade ago brings new life to classic hits like Under The Boardwalk, Save The Last Dance For Me, Up On The Roof, Kissing In The Back Row Of The Movies and many more soul and Motown classics. Lead vocalist Richie Sampson has performed alongside long-standing members of The Drifters such as Ray Lewis, Billy Lewis, Butch Leak, Roy Hemmings and Rohan Delano.
He was also the lead singer for British Soul and Motown group, The Foundations. Soul Kinda Wonderful pays tribute to the legendary original members of The Drifters which includes Clyde McPhatter, Ben E. King, Johnny Moore and others. Critically acclaimed and award-winning, Soul Kinda Wonderful has earned critical acclaim and numerous awards. With over a decade of international experience, they are a polished and inspiring act.

We need to know any directions that will help us find the venue and find the right place to load in our equipment. We’d also need to be informed if there’s a sound limiter in the venue."

We normally arrive 2 hours before the performance to set up. We normally perform 2 x 45 mins.
We can play longer and negotiate performance fee.
We’re happy to play outside but we ask for shade, a flat level surface and a power supply close to the performance area.
The clients are welcome to pick a set list from our repertoire or let us choose the music for them.
