Technical Info

What are your basic technical requirements?

I need a performance space of around 4 meters x 4 meters and preferably 2 power sockets. 1 parking space

Do you provide sound and lighting equipment?

Yes I am completely self contained. I have different microphones including vintage and wireless and I have floor lighting not a rig .

What information do you require about a venue?

Does the venue have parking and somewhere to get changed and keep belongings safe . Also could the venue advise on the best way to load in.

Can you provide a Spotify/DJ service before and between your sets?

Yes. I have plenty of sets to suit all events and shows to play .

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the best gig you've ever done and the best venue you've ever played at?

The best gig I’ve done was with The Chicago Blues Brothers where we headlined Marvelous Festival to 10’000 people. My most memorable venue would be making my West End debut at The Adelphi Theatre.

Which artists have you been most influenced by, who is your favourite artist and what is the greatest song of all time?

Fleetwood Mac have influenced me as a songwriter, however I was brought up in a house of disco, soul and Motown . Any music that gets feet stomping and people in the dance floor are my favorite tracks to sing .

What's your previous experience and how did you start gigging?

I started stage productions at a very young age which led me into continuing my education in the arts getting a distinction diploma in Performing Arts and a degree in musical theatre. My career started in 2009 when I had the great opportunity to produce, direct and perform in a variety of shows for the first English cabaret bar in the Cape Verdean islands . This move abroad then encouraged me to entertain internationally taking me to 5 star hotels in Greece.
I returned to the UK in 2012 which is when I started touring with bands and production shows alongside creating my own catalog of shows. I have been with the Chicago Blues Brothers 6 years now .

What's your favourite type of event to play at?

I love all events but I particularly like my 1940s wartime events from Remembrance Day to Armed forces weekend . The music brings back alot of memories and it’s always a rewarding performance. Your dedication to keeping this beautiful era of music alive for such good causes really doesn’t go un noticed by your guests and clients .

Do you play music in between sets

I play music to suit the theme of the venue or show that I am doing inbewteen my sets and before the performance begins

Performance Info

What are your typical setup and performance times?

I usually arrive around 1 hour 30 minutes before to set up and get changed. My set times are usually 2 x 45 or 3 x 30 minutes with encores however I am very flexible .

Are you happy to perform outside?

I am happy to perform outside so long as there is a power supply and the weather is considered . If not I would prefer shade and raining cover .

Do the clients have a say in what you play or is it a set repertoire list only?

The clients are welcome to pick a set from my repertoire . The themed shows are set songs .

How do previous clients most commonly describe your performances?

Previous clients often describe my shows as high energy, beautiful vocals and versatile.
