Steve is an acoustic guitarist and singer with over 25 years of experience performing in bars and pubs as well as private parties, corporate events, weddings and festivals. Steve has an ecclectic setlist of cover songs ranging from the 50s to the present day. He covers styles such as Pop, Indie, Rock, Country, Soul and Folk and performs the songs as close to the originals as possible so the crowd can sing along. Steve provides his own PA system and is well versed to adapting to the needs of the clients he works with.

I have performed at an international singer songwriter competition in Bulgaria where I came second place. I performed live on Bulgarian National and Capital radio and my music continues to be played on the radio in Bulgaria.
Paul Simon. I love the Gracelands album and his music has influenced me so much over the years. I think my favourite song is You Can Call Me Al and this is a popular one in my set.
I started gigging at the age of 16 in a local village hall in Berkshire but I had been singing and playing guitar from the age of 11. I started my first band at the age of 16 and after moving down to Southampton, Hampshire at 19 I cut my teeth in the local open mics. I have mainly been a solo performer but had a band called The Lowis Lanes between the years of 2004 to 2015. We performed my original material which took the styles of Folk, Pop and Indie. I continued to play solo originals and covers during this time and have performed in most of Hampshire's leading music venues. I have organised my own singer songwriter nights over the years including the internationally recognised, Sofar Sounds events. I also organised the UK's first drive in concert which took place in Southampton during the pandemic.
I continue to perform popular cover sets regularly at pubs, bars, weddings and private events.
I love a music festival but also love playing at a bar or party where people are engaged and singing along.

Depending on the event and the PA/Equipment required to set up I usually arrive 30 minutes to an hour before my set time. I perform a varied set time depending on the bookings which can include 2 x 45 minute, 2 x 60 minute or up to a 3 hour set of cover songs.
Yes I'm happy and enjoy performing outside. I just require an extension lead/power supply and a sheltered area if there is scheduled rain.
I am happy to learn songs for a specific event or send my set list to the client for them to choose a set list. Otherwise I mainly perform set lists which I feel are suitable for the event and can be adaptable during the set when I gauge the audiences responses.
Previous clients say that I am engaging and adaptable to the needs of their audiences. I can bring a high energy set of songs to get people dancing or singing along, a more relaxed set if people are dining or want background music or anything in between.
