The Heat are a highly regarded wedding, functions and events band who have a substantial set list which is a perfect fit for weddings and parties. The set list is tried and tested to ensure all guests have a great time and can range from 50s right through to present day. We can adapt our setlist with you or alternatively we can use what we know ensures the event will be great success. We have a level of musicianship and experience that can be trusted for your big event and wont let you down. Our PA, lighting and equipment in general is second to none and suitable for any venues.
The Heat recreate hit music from across the decades. There really is something for everyone - from current chart hits to good old rock n roll and with pretty much everything in between including 70's glam, 80's synthpop, ska, motown, ballads, soul, indie, dance, country, britpop and solid rock. We also regularly rehearse and add new material to our set list to stay up to date.
The 5 piece band is made up of female fronted vocals applied to catalogue of completely live tracks. With guitar, keyboards, bass, and drums. The Heat can produce pretty much any song.
The Heat are semi-professional musicians with a lifetime of experience performing to large audiences.
Individual members have played on The QE2 and have created delight at dozens of weddings, corporate events, parties and other celebrations.

We have excellent sound equipment and lighting, we are professional and reliable.
We need to know any directions that will help us find the venue and find the right place to load in our equipment. We’d also need to be informed if there’s a sound limiter in the venue
If you’d be interested in a DJ service to keep your guests dancing after the set, we’re happy to offer this for an additional small fee.
We performed at Stack in Seaburn,Officers Mess at Albermarle Barracks, RAF Leeming and numerous Weddings & Birthday parties.

We’re happy to play outside but we ask for shade, a flat level surface and a power supply close to the performance area and a contingency plan if the weather is inclement.
We can learn specific songs before the event but we usually limit this to 1 songs. The clients are welcome to pick a set list from our repertoire or let us choose the music for them

We strive to make sure the line-up you see is what you get on the night. We do have pre-audititioned 'dep' musicians available in case a band member falls ill or is unavailable. As a professional band our reputation means everything so you can be confident that all of our players are of a very high level.
