Based in Lincolnshire, Thea has a varied career playing for weddings and teaching. She began her harp studies at the age of 8, first studying in Derbyshire and then went on to the Royal College of Music in London. Whilst at the RCM she had the opportunity to play for Prince Charles and also won the Gordon Turner Harp Memorial Competition. In July 2018 she graduated the RCM with a first class degree.
At the age of 16 she was accepted to the Yehudi Menuhin School in Surrey, where she now teaches. She has played in the Menuhin Festival in Gstaad, in such halls as the Royal Festival, Barbican and the Royal Albert Hall, she most recently performed a solo recital in the Wigmore Hall.
Thea is also the Harp teacher at the Yehudi Menuhin School and Rugby School. She coaches the Lincolnshire Youth Symphony Orchestra and plays nationwide as part of orchestras and solos. Thea has played for weddings for over 10 years now.
