Meet Annie Jo 🎤
Hi, I’m Annie Jo — a fully insured, versatile vocalist from Hampshire, available for weddings, parties, events and special occasions.
With several years of live performance experience, I bring energy, personality and a touch of fun to every show! My repertoire spans a wide range of styles and eras, including modern hits from the 1980s to present day, retro classics from the 1940s–1970s, and Country & Western favourites.
I’m also happy to learn specific songs on request, helping to make your event truly personal.
Alongside vocals, I can provide guitar accompaniment and a tailored music mix between sets, keeping the atmosphere going even when I’m not on stage.
Whether you’re looking for nostalgic classics, country favourites or something more modern, I’ll tailor the music and performance to suit your event and your audience.
Based in Portsmouth, Hampshire
= areas covered (up to 75 miles)
= free travel (up to 25 miles)
My repertoire spans from vintage to modern day- The list would be too long! Please don’t hesitate to ask if you have any enquiries/song requests.
I require at least one power socket to plug in my PA system and a decent amount of space to put two speakers, a microphone, travel equipment, and myself.
I provide all of the equipment including a PA system. A lighting rig can be arranged for an extra charge.
How much space is available, any directions that will help me to find the venue, and if there are there any special requirements that I need to be aware of on the day.
Yes, I am able to create a custom Spotify mix to play in between sets. Either the client or myself can choose the Music.
I am fully-insured, PLI, PAT Tested, and all equipment is included within the price.
The first wedding I ever performed at when I was 16. It was in a beautiful Cathedral accompanied by a pianist and I felt very fortunate to be a part of my clients special day.
Connie Francis- Her Rock n' Roll classics always get people in a great mood. 'Stupid Cupid' and 'Lipstick on Your Collar' are favourites of mine to sing. The greatest song of all time? ‘Imagine’ by John Lennon. The Lyrics are heartfelt and timeless.
I have performed at weddings, private functions, parties, and similar events. I started when I was a teenager at small functions, mainly just for fun. Now I am in my twenties and proud to say that I do this for a living and on a regular basis.
I love singing at all events, as long as people enjoy themselves and benefit from the experience that’s what matters the most to me.
I usually arrive 30 minutes before the performance to set up. It doesn't take me too long as I try to be as efficient as possible and prepare equipment and cables beforehand. I usually sing 2 x 60 minute sets, but am happy to sing for less or more amount of time.
Yes, I am happy to perform outside so long as the weather/facilities are permitting for electrical equipment.
I am happy for the clients to choose some specific songs for me to learn as I am always trying to expand my repertoire. I do have setlists that people are able to choose from and adapt, too.
Previous clients have kindly described me as a "polite and talented performer" and said that I have "got them in a great mood to sing and dance."
