I recently stood in on double bass for the Jelly Roll Jazz Band at a wedding afternoon reception. Michael and Dan are great guys to work with and fabulous musicians. A perfect mix of songs for the occasion delivered fully acoustically. The newly weds, their family and guests were delighted. The father of the bride thanked us in a short speech and the bride said “you have made my day”. I can highly recommend Jelly Roll for future events.

Michael and his band were just perfect for our summer garden party. Great music, expertly played with a light hearted twist. Communication in advance was excellent. Would definately book again.

We had Michael and the Jelly Roll Jazz band play at our black tie wedding. It was the perfect balance of fun and sophistication. They even went to the extra effort of donning some lovely tuxedos. All the band were absolute gents and would highly recommend!

The Jelly Roll Jazz Band were such a special part of our wedding day! They played us up the aisle at the end of the ceremony, then stayed to perform during our outdoor drinks reception. They were fantastic to work with and sounded wonderful on the day – we absolutely loved having them there, and our guests said the same. Jelly Roll Jazz came all the way to Devon for our belated wedding reception celebrations and they were fantastic! Our guests thoroughly enjoyed the music (as did we) and we couldnt imagine a more perfect performance than the one done by the band. The guys were very kind and friendly and their performance was very characteristic visually (not just musically). Thanks so much again guys it was fantastic!

The boys recently played our wedding and we are so so glad that we chose them. They are all three lovely people and they put in an absolute shift, really going above and beyond what we'd asked. Jelly Roll were such a wonderful addition to our day and they thoroughly deserved the absolutely enormous round of applause they got from every single guest on their way out. We'll absolutely be booking them again for our anniversary parties to come!

Absolutely fantastic! Very professional, exactly complemented the Great Gatsby vibe and good fun. Very talented musicians and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend. They had us all up dancing early doors!

Professional from start to finish.A lovely bunch of lads who played their hearts out and wowed the old and the young.The choice of music was determined by them and was absolutely perfect for the occasion. I would highly recommend.

This was their first indoor concert and the first time we've had a Jazz Concert. They were excellent! A lovely bunch of talented young men led by Michael Grant - an excellent clarinet player. From their first number as they walked down the aisle to their final number they had everyone's feet tapping and hands clapping and everyone enjoyed every minute. It was all very light hearted and thoroughly enjoyable night, so much so that we're hoping to have another concert in 2018.

The wonderful Jellyroll Jazz Band played at my husband's 60th birthday party which took place in our garden on a fabulous Saturday afternoon. We set them up under the gazebo and they absolutely made the day. My husband was unaware there was going to be a band until the three young men appeared. We loved the diversity of the music they played; I bought one of their cds afterwards which has been heard many times since in our garden. They played for 3 hours with 2 breaks and were well worth their fee. They are very gifted musicians, as well as being lovely young men, who made the party go with a swing and I would definitely book them for our next event as long as they play the Star Wars song for me again!

The Jelly Roll Jazz Band were perfect! As part of a gatsby themed birthday party, they were the life and soul with an exquisite repertoire. Very attentive and punctual from the first contact. The enormous applause at the end said it all. Highly recommend.

This was the Band's first proper live concert and what a great success it was! My husband and I heard them busking one Saturday in Beverley and were immediately impressed. I subsequently contacted Michael Grant and arranged a date. The concert was in our 600 year old church and they played to an audience of 90 people and kept us entertained for nearly 2 hours with just a short interval. They were fantastic! From the very start, when they marched down the aisle from the back playing 'When the Saints' they got everyone's feet and fingers tapping. Michael who is SO talented played the clarinet - I'm sure he'll go places and he had a great rapport with the audience was also very pleasant and accommodating when we were finalising fees and times etc. Dan on the banjo and Ben on double bass were both excellent - again two very talented musicians. They were all great and we had a fantastic night and everyone has been full of praise for them and want them back next year. Thank you so much guys!! Hope to see you again.

The Band played at the reception for our daughter's wedding in the unusual setting of Boggle Hole Youth Hostel - well done for making it down the hill! They were perfect for the occasion, with a great choice of lively and well-known tunes, and never dominated the proceedings by being too loud. They are all extremely talented musicians. The vast majority of the wedding party are singers and performers, so are hard to impress, but everyone enjoyed the music and commented on the lovely atmosphere the band created. Very highly recommended to help your event go with a swing! Thank you.

the Jelly Roll Jazz Band provided music for the wake after the funeral of my father. Their music was lively and engaging without being distracting, clearly audible without being too loud for a conversation focused event and GREAT FUN. They did exactly as they were asked - I can't comment on their capacity outside of this.

Clearly that event will never recur, but I would be delighted to work with them again for another event
