We require two parking spaces and power.

Yes, we have our own PA system and some small lights.

We will need to know the directions to the venue and the right place to load in equipment. We'd also need to be informed if there's a sound limiter in the venue, so we can adjust accordingly.

Yes, we're happy to play music from Spotify before, after and between our sets, whether that music be our own or at the client's request.

One afternoon we received a call from a wedding couple, whose band had had to cancel incredibly last minute due to family bereavement, asking us if we could step in and provide them with some music for the evening. It was really laid back due to the circumstances but we gave them everything we had and the guests danced the entire night away, and it was made even more special because the outcome could have been very different! However, there have been so many amazing gigs and clients and we are hoping you become the next one :)

For Kayleigh, it would be Kelly Clarkson in terms of singing influence and for Archie on guitar, it would be John Mayer. We would say that Bruno Mars however is definitely an artist we find easy to incorporate into our sets and his tunes are always a crowd favourite!

Kayleigh started gigging at the age of 14 under a mentorship, following a youth singing competition. From there, she was singing at many different kinds of events and gaining invaluable experience. At the age of 18, she sang in an online concert during lockdown in 2020, and an ambitious young guitarist got in contact with her to see if she wanted to collaborate on a song virtually; the rest is history. We established the duo first and then recruited two other incredible musicians and began ALASKA, a function covers band, in 2021.

We love weddings! It's so lovely to be a part of a couple's special day and wedding guests are the best audiences.

We normally arrive around an hour before the performance to set up. We usually perform 2 x 45 minutes or 2 x 60 minute sets.

Yes, we are happy to play outside. We just ask for shade in warm weather, cover in rainy weather and a power supply close to the performance area.

We can learn specific songs before the event (we usually learn the first dance for weddings) but we usually limit this to three songs. The clients are welcome to pick a set list from our repertoire or let us choose the music for them.
