Reviews of The Pop Pickers

These guys were unbelievable for our wedding festival. We had four bands throughout the day with Pop Pickers playing as the 3rd band as we started with an acoustic singer/guitarist and then an Irish band whilst we were having dinner.
Pop Pickers kicked the main party of with our first dance, with the song 'Be My Baby' by the Ronettes. They were absolutely brilliant from start to finish. All our guests absolutely loved them and their music. They played 50's,60's and 70's . We initially chose them as we were looking for a band to play our main dance song to and once we started looking at their entire music catalogue, we were really impressed and knew that the mixture of music from the years would be great for our wedding.
Really nice guys and very talented and professional. We would highly recommend Pop Pickers. Top class.

We booked the Pop Pickers for our Dad's 80th birthday party and they were brilliant! All the songs played from the 50s, 60s & 70s were known by all and got a lot of people up dancing.

Communication with Ian was great before the event, and we would thoroughly recommend.

We booked The Pop Pickers for a Special Birthday Celebration. They were Absolutely Fantastic! Great selection of 50's, 60's and 70's music. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed themselves and were up dancing. So many friends and family have said how amazing and professional they are. A truly memorable evening.

I can’t tell you how many comments we’ve had from those who attended our British Legion evening in Seend near Devizes, Wilts on Saturday…… all excellent, I should say!! Thank you so much for making our evening so successful. We will definitely be in touch again. The village is still talking about it. Great to see so many people up on the dance floor (and the tables and chairs!) within minutes of starting and wanting to continue well into the night!!! A great night. Thanks to all. I’ve seen the pop pickers a few times before and only they would do for the party I wanted to give my mum.
The music of her younger days ?
That being said, everyone had an amazing time and most were up dancing at some point or dancing in their seats.
Will definitely book again for future events.
Highly recommend to anyone that wants a fun filled time.

If you want a great band that takes you back in time then you most definitely won’t go wrong with the Pop Pickers !! They are fabulous and you will have a fantastic evening . You will be tapping those feet and singing along to all the best songs of the 50s 60s and 70s before you know it . Great party atmosphere ! Well worth booking this band ! You will not be disappointed !

Always a great evening with The Pop Pickers at Nursling & Rownhams Social Club.

The Pop Pickers were just fabulous. I cannot thank Ian and the band enough for such a great evening of music. The party was held in a smaller room than the band was used to, but the sound levels were perfect. They were very accommodating with timings etc so that the evening ran smoothly. The song choices from the 50's and 60's, 70's was spot on, everyone was up on their feet and I am pleased to say my 80 year old Dad danced all night.

Excellent band and great value, now we just need another event so we can book them again.

The club has had so many positive responses to our New Years Eve party with The Pop Pickers which we thank you all for and we are pleased to announce that they will return later on in the year.

Last night was our 1st meeting since our Dinner/Dance. All the feedback has been excellent. I just wanted to pass on to you that our membership was very impressed and that you are on the list of those we would like again. The bands flexibility and attitude were clearly visible. We were all well pleased.

Just had to say a big big thank you for playing at my 70th Birthday Party on Friday night. You are simply the best group! I have had so many comments about the music and how much everyone enjoyed the night. So now we are all planning for December when we can all come down and all enjoy another brilliant night with all our fancy dress for Christmas, which I'm looking forward to already, and I'm sure everyone else is to. This year I had a few comments from our members that the music was rather on the loud side compared to last year
Although I am not booking them for 2024 this is because I want make some changes to next year’s rally and I would not hesitate in booking them for future years
