The RUSH - Manchester's most exciting band!
The band are a combination of powerful vocals and a high quality of musicianship, featuring some of Manchester most established and talented musicians from the past 20 years. The RUSH can make your event or wedding truly a night to remember, with a huge list of possible songs, there is certain to be something for everyone in your crowd.
Fully self contained with lighting and PA equipment, the band also offer a professional DJing service as an option for a whole evening’s entertainment. We can offer an Ibiza style sax set with the DJing option after the band if that is your guilty pleasure.
Their experience is at your disposal, having performed at on average 70 weddings per year, not including a great number of huge charity and corporate events, and therefore they have seen every type of crowd, with demographics ranging from teenagers to the older generation!!! They are highly professional and are able to work your crowd in to a frenzy!!!
We have many options for daytime background entertainment, including Roaming Band 'Walking Heads', Wedding hosting, Solo sax, Gypsy jazz trio and acoustic duo.
Lead singer Gavin, was a feature on the 2007 X-Factor contest, having all his auditions televised and even appeared on Lorraine Kelly's show as the shock omission of the competition! He has also been a stand in singer for the Voice for 8 years, performing for the Judge's Rehearsals before the contestants perform.

We need a space roughly of 3M x 5M (although we have fitted in to much smaller spaces)
Yes we have a PA system that is 6K and we have our own lighting for the band and Dancefloor
We most importantly need to know if it has any noise restrictions in place

Best venue we have played at would be the Weekender Festival stage in Jersey, what a gig plating to 1000s of people.
The best venue was Son Togores in Majorca, a beautiful place, like something out of The Godfather
I wouldn't say we are influenced by, but we all love Stevie Wonder , one of the forefathers of modern pop music

We love Weddings to be honest!!
Because we are different to most cover/ function bands. Yes we can do the standard wedding/ party set if thats what you want. However, we can also do things differently, we have a range of repertoire like old school Hip Hop, RnB and 90s Dance Music which most bands can't perform
Set up takes around 30 mins to 45 mins for larger events
2 x 45 minute sets live band
DJ Sax set is 45 mins
YEs of course, we actually can perform using a battery if need be!
You can have total say Fromm our repertoire or you can let us pick them. If you choose the latter, we will pick them whilst performing in order to react to the crowd.
Energetic, our set list is so varied, and we throw the songs together in a manner that they have never seen before with any other band
