Staged amplified sets: Minimum area 3 m x 4 m for the four piece. Two separate 13A sockets on a clean supply. Allow 90 to 120 minutes for load in and soundcheck. House PA and lighting welcome, or we can supply by quote.

Other: Please advise any noise limiter details and sensor locations. We hold £10m PLI and current PAT. RAMS available. Clear load in and nearby parking. Private changing area and soft drinks or water appreciated.

Do you provide sound and lighting equipment?

Yes. For unplugged roaming no PA or lighting is needed. For wireless amplified roaming we supply a compact PA suitable for drinks receptions and garden parties; please provide one standard 13A socket near our base. For staged amplified sets we can supply a full PA matched to the room, with the option of a sound engineer if required. We can add tasteful LED lighting for the performance area and a simple dance floor wash on request. Where a venue has an installed system we are happy to plug in instead. Background playlists between sets are available when we provide PA. If needed we can provide one or two wireless microphones for speeches. All equipment is PAT tested and we carry £10 million Public Liability Insurance.

Can you provide a Spotify/DJ service before and between your sets?

Yes. For unplugged roaming we can supply a compact battery powered speaker with Bluetooth for gentle background music between sets. It is not included as standard, but we can add it on request. It is ideal for ambience during drinks or changeovers rather than dance floor levels. You can send us a playlist in advance or connect your own device on the day.

For our amplified formats we provide PA and can run a curated Spotify-style playlist before and between sets at no extra charge when we are providing PA. A simple Self-DJ playlist service after the last live set is available up to your venue curfew - late load-out fee may apply. A wireless microphone for speeches is available on request.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the best gig you've ever done and the best venue you've ever played at?

Performing across multiple days on the Bandstand Stage at the Chelsea Flower Show, with repeat bookings from 2023 to 2025, it's quite an experience performing to an audience 3000+ and being involved in such a prestigious event.

Best venue: The Shard, where we played a private corporate party with the whole of London sparkling beneath us.

Other standout bookings include our ongoing residency performance spots in Premium Hospitality at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium and at Newmarket Racecourses’ Premier Enclosure, starting in 2021, plus a 2025 feature at Henley Royal Regatta. We’ve also had the privilege of performing at many outstanding wedding venues over the years, from classic country houses and barns to luxury city hotels, and we’re proud to be a recommended supplier at several across Cambridgeshire and nearby counties.

Which artists have you been most influenced by, who is your favourite artist and what is the greatest song of all time?

As a four-piece with wide tastes, our influences span rock and roll, jazz, folk, soul, funk and modern pop. Individually, Tom leans rockabilly and country, Myke brings a strong jazz and folk background with a Pink Floyd connection, and Edu adds Brazilian, reggae and funk influences, while Kyle is a singer-guitarist rooted in rock, pop and indie.

As a band, the artists we return to most include The Beatles, Van Morrison, Stevie Wonder, Elvis Presley, Queen, Simon and Garfunkel, Paul Simon and Fleetwood Mac, alongside modern favourites like Ed Sheeran, George Ezra and Harry Styles.

What's your previous experience and how did you start gigging?

Our Guitarist and Band Manager Kyle began gigging at 18 in a busy wedding function band and now has more than 20 years of planning and performing experience. In 2020 a chance introduction to Brazilian percussionist Edu Neto sparked The Snap Chaps, which quickly grew into a roaming, all-singing quartet built for interactive sets among guests. Individually, Tom has toured since his teens and worked alongside artists including Huey Lewis, Tom Chaplin, Ronan Keating, Mike Rutherford and The Feeling. Myke founded the Pink Floyd tribute show Pink Floyd Dimension and comperes the Avalon Stage at Glastonbury. Edu brings festival, theatre and roaming experience from more than 100 projects across Europe and South America. Since launching we have focused on premium weddings and corporate events, where the strolling format lets us do what we do best: bring sing-along moments to tables, terraces and boxes.

What's your favourite type of event to play at?

Our favourite type of event is any setting where we can interact closely with guests. The magic for us is weaving between tables, chatting on terraces and lawns, taking live requests and getting everyone singing. Even the smallest house party can be unforgettable when the crowd is up for it. Our unplugged, interactive roaming style shines at summer garden parties and wedding drinks receptions, where we can move freely and keep the vibe relaxed but lively. We also love pre-dinner hospitality and brand events when the brief is to break the ice and bring teams together. In truth, any event where we can be close to people and create those sing-along moments is our favourite.

Performance Info

What are your typical setup and performance times?

Unplugged roaming: we arrive 60 to 75 minutes before the first set. Setup and warm up take around 20 minutes. Pack down is usually 20 minutes.
Wireless amplified roaming: allow about 90 minutes for arrival, setup and a quick line check. We need one standard mains socket near our base.
Staged amplified sets with PA and lighting: allow 90 to 120 minutes for load in and soundcheck, depending on access and room size.

Performance times
Most bookings are 3 x 30 minute roaming sets within a 3 hour on site window. Alternatives are 2 x 45 minutes, if using amplification. Breaks are typically 10 to 20 minutes between sets. Extended performance times (up to 5 x 30-minute sets) and time on site is available by negotiation.

Are you happy to perform outside?

Yes, we are very happy to perform outside. Our unplugged roaming sets are made for gardens, courtyards and terraces and do not need power. For wireless amplified roaming we need one standard mains socket near a dry base. For any staged amplified set we require a weatherproof cover such as a gazebo, marquee or stretch tent.

We ask for flat, dry ground and safe access. Please provide shade in strong sun and a covered area if drizzle is likely. Instruments and microphones cannot be used in rain, so a wet weather plan is essential. In cooler months we recommend patio heaters, as hands and strings struggle below about 10°C. If wind picks up, side walls help to protect equipment and keep sound consistent.

If the weather turns, we can relocate quickly to an indoor area and keep the music flowing. We will coordinate with your venue to choose the best locations so guests can see and hear us comfortably.

Do the clients have a say in what you play or is it a set repertoire list only?

Short answer: yes, clients have a say. We curate sets live to suit the crowd rather than a fixed running order. Ahead of the day you can send us 5 to 10 favourites, any must plays and any songs to avoid. On the day we take requests within our repertoire and weave them in naturally.

Our roaming format works best when we read the room and move between groups, so we use your brief and our experience to keep energy and flow. If you have key moments in mind, like a first dance or a special dedication, tell us and we will plan for it. With notice we can usually learn one or two special songs if they fit our style, and we will confirm what is possible at booking. The goal is a soundtrack that feels personal to you while staying pacey, musical and fun.

How do previous clients most commonly describe your performances?

Clients most commonly describe our performances as energetic, interactive and brilliantly tailored to the room. Reviews mention how we roam between tables, take requests and spark sing-alongs, creating the perfect atmosphere for drinks receptions, garden parties and corporate hospitality. Professionalism and easy communication come up time and again, along with flexibility on the day and learning special songs. Highlighted feedback includes: “All the guests were up and dancing. The vibe was UNREAL!” and “Everyone raved about them and it was the perfect amount of background music but also engaging entertainment!” We’re consistently rated five stars across wedding platforms and Google, and many couples say we were a highlight of their day.
