Hard to say! I’ve done a performance in Southwell Minster which was very memorable.
I love Ray Charles’ improvisation in his voice and the freshness of Prince’s Piano and a Microphone album. I also love Ella Fitzgerald’s vocal improvisation and Frank Sinatra’s storytelling.
I have been gigging in various different outfits and alone since I left school.
I enjoy all sorts of performances but particularly enjoy playing outside at a festival for a relaxed, listening audience.
I normally arrive 45 minutes to an hour before a performance and can set up in about 10 minutes. This will be longer if performing with a full band.
I’m happy to play outside provided there is a power supply close to the performance area.
Potentially happy to learn a couple of requests for special events.
