We require a suitable performance space for our 7-piece band, ideally around 8m x 5m, with access to standard 13-amp power sockets. Parking for loading and unloading equipment is appreciated, with secure parking nearby where possible and couple of parking spaces if we won't be traveling by bus.

We can provide our own sound and lighting equipment where required. However, if the venue has a suitable professional sound and lighting system available, we are more than happy to use it. For events abroad, we are also happy to discuss using the venue’s equipment to make arrangements as smooth and practical as possible.

We ask for the venue address, directions and details of the best access point for loading and unloading equipment. Please also let us know about any sound limiters, parking restrictions, stage dimensions or other venue requirements before the event.

Yes, we can arrange background music before our performance and between sets, helping to keep the atmosphere going throughout your event. Please let us know your music preferences in advance so we can help create the right atmosphere. Dj serivie will be paid extra.

Performing at luxury hotels, international celebrations and unforgettable weddings has given us a wealth of experience and a passion for delivering exceptional live music for every occasion.

We’re inspired by some of country music’s biggest stars, including Luke Combs, Morgan Wallen, Chris Stapleton, Shania Twain and Alan Jackson. Their songs bring together great storytelling, catchy melodies and the energy that makes country music so special. As a band, we love performing the songs audiences know and love, from modern country hits to timeless classics. Choosing the greatest song of all time is almost impossible, but for us, it has to be one that gets everyone singing along!

With over 20 years of musical experience, we’re an established group of musicians who have performed together for many years, building a strong musical connection and a real passion for live entertainment. Our journey began with Chris, who started his first band at just 14 years old, driven by his love of music and performing. He began gigging at a young age, developing his experience as a singer and musician and laying the foundations for what would become a long-standing musical journey. Over the years, we’ve performed at a wide range of events and prestigious venues, including luxury hotels, international celebrations and destination weddings. Today, with Whiskey & Shades, we bring that experience, professionalism and love of country music to every performance, creating memorable shows that get audiences singing, dancing and coming back for more.

We usually arrive around 2 hours before the performance to allow plenty of time for setup and sound checks. We’re also happy to arrive earlier and set up before guests enter the main hall, ensuring everything is ready in advance and minimising disruption to your event. Our typical format is 2 x 45-minute or 2 x 60-minute sets, with timings flexible to suit your event and schedule.

Yes, we’re happy to perform outdoors, provided there is a suitable flat, level performance area, adequate shelter from the weather, and access to a nearby power supply. We ask that suitable cover is provided to protect the band and equipment from rain and direct sunlight.

Absolutely! We’re happy to discuss your musical preferences and tailor our setlist to suit your event. You can choose your favourite songs from our repertoire, and we can consider learning a couple special requests in advance. Alternatively, leave it to us to read the room and create the perfect atmosphere for your guests.
