"We can't stop talking about how good Edina is. She came and played at my 50th birthday party which we held in our garden and she set the scene perfectly with a mix of classical and Flamenco guitar music. We also had two live singers that came on after Edina and they were also blown away by her performance. She has an endearing smile and is so gracious. Bottom line is we'd book her again without hesitation."

"I recently had the pleasure of working with Edina to create a very special marriage proposal to my now fiancee. I am from the United States and it was a bit daunting to find a professional musician that could carry out my vision and communicate with me from over the pond! Edina was great from the first email, courteous and timely in reponse. She learned 3 new songs to perform for us and the vocalist that worked with her (Hettie) was great too. She also took special requests for a recording of the songs and champagne for us to toast. Edina and Hettie sat in the cold and waited for us to arrive at the proposal spot! And the performance was lovely, made us laugh and cry, and made the greatest moment completely surreal. I recommend working with Edina, she is a pleasure. "

"Thank you so much Em Strings for providing these very talented musicians. There was 100+ people in the Church congregation, all of whom commented individually on how they enjoyed the classical performance, and how beautiful and graceful the musicians were. The ensemble set the scene beautifully and yes - the was everything and more I had dreamed of as a bride, they definitely fulfilled my heart's desire to make it a beautiful church wedding ceremony, very fitting for that period church. I pray that I will be able to enjoy that ensemble again over the years with more celebrations. Thank you again for such a breathtaking and awe inspiring performance. "

"Good Afternoon, I just want to take the time to Thank You as Ian has just left and he was just wonderful! We have quite a few pupils with complex needs yet they were able to sequence the notes and copy Ian on the drum! They were all engaged and absolutely loved the music, dancing and waving ribbons. It was also so interesting listening to his question and answer time, he is so knowledgeble and linked so well to our Topic on the Windrush. "Ines and her band were such a special part of our wedding day, and we were so impressed by their professionalism and commitment to making the music absolutely spot on. They set a lively and atmospheric mood with their set list of Bossa Nova and Jazz, and later in the evening played their take on some of our requested tunes including Jewish celebration music and other more contemporary songs. Caravela’s musicianship is some of the best on the scene and we were so thrilled that they were a part of our wedding. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them and hope to be able to book them again for our next party!"
