Review Centre: Solo Musicians

"Myself and my daughter selected Andy from various videos. We were looking for someone who could entertain ALL of our guests (we had a 200 strong guest list from 9 - 90 years old) and he seemed to have a cross generational appeal which we both liked. I must say, we are absolutely delighted with our choice! Andy made the whole process so easy for us. He is so easy to deal with and organised all of the lighting and sound equipment required, and DJ'd the party as well! His swing act is absolutely top notch - very polished and professional but with a touch of mischievous spontaneity which makes it obvious that he has studied the Masters of the genre, and is also a fan. A stunning voice and a superb rapport with his audience, Andy had the entire crowd in the palm of his hand. It was a delight to witness. As for the guest of honour (a life long swing fan), all that hubby could say was 'outstanding!' High praise indeed from a man of few words. If you are considering a swing act, I have no reservation in recommending Andy Ax. "

"Josh was amazing! We hired him to play at the drinks reception of our wedding and he gave an amazing vibe for the time our guests were outside the marquee. It really added to our wedding and we had so many compliments from our guests!"

"We honestly cannot thank Matt enough, he made the atmosphere during the ceremony & we were overwhelmed by his professionalism, patience & overall wonderful nature. It was so lovely to hear most of the tables during our wedding breakfast, guessing the songs! Also, the feedback received from our guests was amazing - they were all saying how lovely Matt is! "From start to finish, Mark was absolutely incredible. We hired Mark to play at our wedding, alongside a choir that he had never performed with before, and his performance was amazing. He kept in touch with us throughout and helped us to work out what would work best for our ceremony. The result was fantastic and we had so many compliments about the music during our ceremony. We cannot recommend him enough, thank you Mark! Xx"

"Kitty was a delight to work with from start to finish, always friendly and helpful in our online and phone communications. On the night Kitty arrived with plenty of time to set up, she looked fantastic, she was hugely accommodating of our schedule running late and her voice and music is utterly beautiful, sensitive and received lots of applause. "Chris absolutely rocked my 50th Birthday party this weekend! He is an excellent DJ who seems to be able to read a crowd and play songs that appeal to all ages. But when Chris sings ….. wow, he is beyond talented! He had everyone up singing and dancing, we didn’t want the night to end!! Wonderful memories that will always be with us!! Oh … and he is a really nice chap too! Really could not recommend Chris any more highly …."

"Tom played at my wife and my 50th birthday party. Ahead of the event, his communication was excellent, providing a playlist based on our likes but also very happy to add our choice of songs to the setlist. He covered a wide genre of music. He arrived extremely punctually and was ready to go when the event started. The guests loved his music. I would not hesitate to recommend him. Francis & Alison"

"We were lucky enough to book Dan last minute for a 50th birthday party and we were not disappointed! Our guests ranged from early 20’s to late 50’s and Dan had everyone up singing and dancing.. great voice and very talented wouldn’t hesitate to recommend "

"Thom was fantastic all day - we had provided him with quite a list of songs to play (some of which were a little obscure) but he came through for all of them. How many people get 'Today' by the Smashing Pumpkins played just after they've had their first wedding meal? Probably not many. Thanks Thom!"
