Review Centre: Solo Musicians

"We had the pleasure of having Andrew as our special guest instrumentalist at Mansfield Sings!' Spring concert. He serenaded us with a selection of easy listening, familar Jazz pieces, melting hearts all over the room. Heads were nodding and feet were tapping as our audience drank in every note. I loved every song, but my personal favourite was Mac the Knife! Andrew's sound system too provided an edge of professionalism, making us feel as if we were in a concert hall or studio, rather than the function room we hired. I was so pleased when Andrew agreed to collaborate with the choir for a couple of songs. His contribution inspired the singers, and I could feel their performance lift as he accompanied with joyful tones. As somebody who also plays in a band with Andrew from time to time, I can also commend his musicianship and commitment to creating special, musical moments with others. I would definitely recommend Andrew, and would invite him again."

"Rose was absolutely amazing - from start to finish her communication was brilliant. Her look was spot on and her vocal range was absolutely perfect for the song range selected. We had a many people congratulate us on our choice. However the crowning glory was Rose actual learnt and re- interpreted our wedding song Northern Sky by Nick Drake in such a beautiful fashion it made us cry. We cannot recommend her enough - book her you will not regret it."

"I’m not sure I can really put in to words how perfect Hannah was at our wedding. Her voice was faultlessly beautiful. From the start of the process booking with Hannah (not only was she extremely well priced) it was completely stress free, she also made personal calls to find out exactly what songs we wanted played. As soon as I, the bride, heard Hannah sing when i walked down the aisle I was mesmerized. There was not a a single guest at the wedding who didn’t complement Hannahs performance. She was absolutely outstanding and we cant thank her enough for striking the perfect balance with song choices and beautiful voice. "

"We are so pleased we found Martin on this site! From the start, he was friendly and professional with great communication. Arrived on time and set up promptly. It’s not easy playing at an 18th birthday party, with such a mix of age ranges, but he managed to cater for all ages there. Thank you Martin for helping to make our daughter’s birthday so special. "We just cannot say enough good things about these guys. We were so blown away by how good they were! Everything from our communications with Adam through to the music on the night and all our little requests in between were handled in such a professional manner. The guys were so truly lovely and patient both before and during our wedding. The dance floor was packed all night and although at some points the dancing got a little scary (read BAD), it was great to see everyone having such a good time. All of our guests keep telling us how good the band was and we couldn't agree more. Guys we thank you from the bottom of our hearts. Best Day Ever!"

" Firstly, Sarah is so easy to communicate with & her speed of response is fast. Secondly, nothing was too much trouble for her & as other clients have said she has an eclectic range of musical knowledge. Thirdly & most importantly, Sarah played at my partners 50th party with an excellent set that everyone loved. Sarah was fantastic from start to the finish even enhancing what I thought was an already good playlist. If you want a next level party look no further, thank you so much Sarah. "Maddy sang 3 x 45 min sets. A mix of modern pop hits with some old classics and some jazz standards. She was excellent. We all particularly loved her renditions of Natural Woman and Ain't nobody. Lovely piano playing and a beautiful voice. "
