"Jess was an absolute pleasure to work with from our initial contact through to agreeing the event timetable / playlist & on to her performance at the afternoon of our wedding. This talented lady (Jess also plays keyboard professionally however we opted on the day for Saxophone only) played a variety of music which contributed immensely to a fabulous atmosphere (with much of it being outside as we were so lucky with the weather) & especially ramping up to a dance/ party vibe towards the latter end of the performance. Indeed many guests commented on how good Jess was & how much they had enjoyed her playing which speaks for itself. We would definitely not hesitate to recommend Jess for any event as she has the versatility / music repertoire for all occassions - Many Thanx"

"What an incredible musician!! Robert not only is the most genuine, professional and personal chap, but he truly made our dream come true for our wedding. From a surprise moment through to the end of our drinks reception at our wedding, Robert was in the background when needed and got the feet tapping as the sunshine came out. It was magical. Robert is a talented musician and would 10/10 recommend for any event."

"We just want to thank you again for the huge contribution you made to Fiona and Stephen's wedding on Saturday. Your playing really added to the atmosphere of the drinks reception and the meal. You managed to be heard by everyone yet remained unobtrusive, I don't know how you did it! Everyone (young and old) complimented us on our choice of entertainment. Several guests (including our own daughter) are musicians themselves and were very impressed by your mellow sax playing and the backing tracks... gorgeous! "Modern Strings did a fantastic job at our wedding. I asked for a string trio. They followed my instructions to the letter and were very cooperative during the event and in the run up to it. They brilliantly played additional pieces of music that were not on their repertoire. They also beautifully played a mixture of classical and popular songs. All guests commented how well they played and what a fantastic idea it was to have a live trio at our wedding. The trio were smiley and extremely friendly and reliable on our wedding day. I would recommend their services to my best of friends and family and would employ their services again should I have another event. Very well done and thank you for making our special day even more special. "

"Tom and the band were absolutely fantastic- nothing was too much trouble - they played an amazing set and the whole party agreed they were the best band they have seen! My husband and I have seen both Rogers Waters and David Gilmore and Tom and his band were just as good singing ‘wish you were here’- excellent! So glad we found them. "
