"I met Mark at a couples wedding I was photographing at Homewood Hall, he was hired to be the entertainer after the ceremony. However the clients wanted him to be a surprise and act as guest by blending in to watch the ceremony and play as they walk out the aisle. We touched base before the day and also the morning of the wedding. He arrived extra early to ensure he wasn’t late and practised his songs. He was really easy to talk to and very friendly character. You definitely would want him at your wedding if you are looking for a saxophonist, I could tell straight away he was talented and professional just by looking at his saxophone. I have worked with many suppliers over the years of being a photographer and I can tell you I have experienced ones who don’t even say hello to other suppliers or care about the guests. Mark is the complete opposite! Don’t hesitate to book him, you won’t be disappointed! :)"

"The Weekend Groove played at our wedding in the French Alps on June 24th. They were everything you would hope for in a band for an occasion like this; easy to work with, easy and fun to get on with and full of energy for the excellent performance we had on the night. They brought lively and energetic entertainment to our reception and I would definitely recommend them, so much so I've already put them in touch with the wedding venue to recommend to future couples. "We had Tom for our drinks reception at our wedding! From the moment we entered the room Tom had everyone up and dancing, he was great and played a variety of different songs for everyone. I’ve had so many people saying how fantastic he was! Tom then played our top table in and then us, he had everyone up on their feet and loving life! "I booked Mark to play a couple of sets during the drinks reception at our wedding. We booked and talked a bit about the vibe we were looking for and Mark was happy to be flexible to what we wanted. We gave him an idea of what we were looking for and that was more than enough for him to deliver a perfect set. We were both swept away a bit on the day and it's regretful that I didn't get a chance to speak to Mark at all. He arrived and set up while I was having photos, and I returned to the drinks reception to find exactly the vibe we had asked for. People were having fun, drinking and playing lawn games and Mark was playing in the background. It added so much to this part of the day and really brought a special something to the atmosphere and there were plenty of guests who agreed and commented on it. We had a bit of an entrance into the venue to tend to after the reception and by the time that was done, he had packed up and quietly exited. I apologised to him afterwards that I didn't get chance to say hello or goodbye but it was not a problem. He said he didn't want to come and take us out of a conversation with a loved one to say goodbye which I thought was really thoughtful. He was completely selfless, arrived and departed so quietly and clearly very sensitive to it being our big day. He was brilliant from start to finish and many guests commented, not only on how great he is as a musician, but also how professional he was. If you are considering doing something similar, I would definitely recommend him."
