Yes. We're able to bring our own PA system and lighting rig.

We need to know any directions that will help us find the venue and find the right place to load in our equipment. We’d also need to be informed if there’s a sound limiter in the venue.

Yes. We provide professionally curated DJ-style playlists before, between, and after our live sets to keep the music flowing. We’re happy to curate these ourselves, or work with you to include your favourite songs and tailor the vibe for your event.

Between us, we’ve been lucky enough to perform at some incredible events and venues nationally and internationally – from Glastonbury Festival and Boomtown Festival to Montreux Jazz Festival and Pizza Express Jazz Club in Soho. Each has its own magic, but what they all share is an unforgettable atmosphere and a buzzing crowd – exactly the kind of energy we bring to every event we play.

We take inspiration from the timeless sounds of classic house and dance music – artists like Robert Miles, Ultra Naté, Moloko and Inner City. Tracks such as Children, Free, Sing It Back and Good Life. The kind of anthems that bring people together on the dancefloor, and that’s exactly the energy we aim to capture in every set.

Jim and Andrew have over 20 years of professional experience as touring and recording musicians. Between them they’ve played main stages at festivals and venues across the UK and Europe, from intimate clubs to major festivals. Having started out gigging in bands and quickly building reputations as in demand musicians, they now bring all that experience into GrooveWave, combining live energy with dancefloor ready sounds for unforgettable events.

Any event where people are up for dancing and having a good time! Whether it’s a wedding, a private party or a packed festival tent, we love creating that moment when the whole crowd is moving together and the energy is electric.

Setup: 90 minutes for sound system, lighting & instruments.
Performance: 3 x 30-minute live sets of sax & percussion.
Music in between: DJ-style playlists (or professional DJ in the premium package) ensure no gaps.
Duration: Up to 4 hours continuous coverage (e.g. 8pm–midnight).
Pack-down: Up to 60 mins after the event.

Yes, as long as there is suitable cover in case it rains!

Clients are welcome to suggest songs for the playlist.
