Review Centre: Solo Musicians

"Nigel beautifully played the piano at our wedding at Shuttleworth House on 29th August 2021. He played a lovely composition of music for the arrival of our guests, throughout the wedding ceremony and also wedding breakfast. Nigel is a true gent and was a major part of creating the perfect atmosphere at our wedding through his music and demeanour. He very kindly offered to also learn additional songs to his repertoire which we had requested and played those beautifully. The guests also commented on Nigel's wonderful piano playing and enjoyed his presence greatly. We can't thank Nigel enough for being a part of our wedding and his service from the first time we contacted him, has been extraordinary. He was very helpful, reliable and extremely prompt with his responses which we valued greatly. Thank you once again, Nigel! "

"Kevin was utterly fantastic at my husbands 30th birthday and fully entertained the 65+ guests. Very quick set up and knew exactly how to create the prefect ambience for our sunny celebratory day. It was a pleasure to meet you Kevin and I cannot recommend highly enough!! Superb!"

"They played at our Wedding last June and were absolutely fantastic, all of our guests thoroughly enjoyed the music and they were undoubtedly a real highlight for our drinks reception. It provided a really nice atmosphere for when people arrived back from the church. Thank you!"

"I wanted to book someone to sing mine and my partner's favorite song for when I proposed near London Bridge. Imagine my amazement when one of the people I asked for a quote actually wrote OUR song! This really made the proposal extra, extra special and memorable and of course, scored me some serious brownie points! Ian is an absolute gent and the most genuine, helpful guy. He couldn't have been more accommodating with fine tuning the proposal planning and was wonderful when we came to meet. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him for anything, after seeing how he helped make our special day so unforgettable."

"I can well believe he's a World champion at that inflatable baggy thing !! He was flipping brilliant. The only thing we said was play things that are rousing, and he did so with gusto. At one point he even played improvised pipes along with our traditional ceilidh band that left our congregation in awe. Thunderstruck on the bagpipes was quite the spectacle also. I thought it only had about 6 notes. Obviously not!!! I don't usually write reviews, but Dave was not only excellent, he's also just a damn nice bloke and even helped me rally our reluctant troops for the charity duck race ! Couldn't have asked for more. 10/10. No bother. Highly reccomend. "

"Simply Brilliant. We chose George to play at our ceremony and reception because we wanted something a little different and personal. Rather than just the usual piped music, to have someone who can interact with the service and timings was fantastic. He was totally flexible to our wishes and is a brilliant pianist and guitarist. He played our chosen wedding song exactly how we wanted it and all our guests commented on what a great singer he was. For the price of a wedding cake which no one remembers you can have your own personal singer for your big day. Cannot recommend enough. Susan and Roger Farran"

"Will was sensational! He took all our songs in his stride. The music and singing in our ceremony and reception drinks for perfection. All our guests enjoyed the live performances and it really added something special to our day. Will was extremely professional and well presented. His voice is wonderful. He even went out his way to record our first dance - this was so special as the words meant a great deal to us. Thank you Will!"

"We had Lovely at our wedding. As soon as she started guests were up dancing. She has a very beautiful voice and if I have another event again I will be using her. "We had Ollie for our wedding reception, and we are so glad we did. Ollie was brilliant with us from point of enquiry right through until after the wedding. On the wedding day, Ollie was amazing. He played from guests arriving whilst canapés and drinks were served, through the wedding breakfast and right up until our DJ came later in the evening. Ollie was happy to play a selection of music of what we wanted, but we left this down to Ollie. The quality and talent of this young man is just brilliant. All our Family and friends are still talking about how fantastic he was and how it really made the day with Ollie playing. If you are wondering whether to book Ollie for your event, then definitely do it. A genuine polite, nice gentleman who can sing just beautifully! Thank you so much Ollie. Mr & Mrs Eyre "
