"These lovely people came to play during the drinks at my daughter’s 21st birthday party. They were very attentive to her style, flexible on the timings of their sets, friendly and accommodating. Great music too - just the right tempo. Wouldn’t hesitate to use them again. June 2024"

"We hired Richard and the Tzigauners jazz group for our wedding and they were absolutely amazing! So talented. They learned three songs for our ceremony which made it feel that much more unique and special. They also were very flexible and adaptable to timing and locations on the property (we set up in two locations). My only regret was not hearing them more! (Being a bride you get pulled away so often!) A huge thank you to the band!!!"

"Fi has, rightly, a greatly praised voice, and this worked a treat in that environment. She possesses excellent technique & frequently went for complex lines and pulled them all off with aplomb. She has equally good dynamic sensibilities and used shifts of these with discretion for extra effect. Alex's playing mirrored this: skilled yet tasteful with generally chorded accompaniment when Fi was singing and when it came to his solos, the runs, though often improvised, served the song, not his ego. They have an empathetic understanding I think: not just in the interplay between voice & piano but also in their several duets & this was another element in the playfulness"

"An absolute delight to deal with from beginning to end! For a couple who lacked a strong musical vocabulary, Sonia turned what could have been an arduous experience into a seamless one. After every phone call or meeting the first words out of our mouths were ‘I love Sonia.’ Sonia and her band played evocatively in our Cornish National Trust barn setting, got our guests on their feet and provided an elegant, sophisticated and mesmerising backdrop to our wedding. The icing on the cake: Sonia’s voice is spellbinding."

"TfB were fantastic at our wedding. From the first message to them to the end of the wedding, they were friendly, communicative and flexible. In the run up, they helped us find the right size group for the space. Despite our short notice, they squeezed us in (second wedding of the day!), turned up on time and ready to go. The music was great, modern classics redone in a Gatsby style, got everyone up and dancing. Even the reluctant ones. Several of our guests have come back to us since the wedding to praise the band. "

"We booked Fann Street Hot Club for our wedding in February, and they were just perfect! All our guests were dancing, and everyone loved it. They also played a few slower, romantic ones for Katie and I to have our first dance to. From start to finish, the band were great. Definitely recommend."

"We were truly amazed by the wonderful performance Laura and her fantastic pianist put on for our private event. Booking was super easy - we had a call to discuss some must-haves which Laura kindly included, and Laura also very kindly noted all the anecdotal detail I shared and built this into the performance, making it feel so special and thoughtful. They arrived perfectly on time to set up, were super professional yet approachable, and thankfully were able to extend the booking because we were not ready for them to leave! Laura’s voice is truly captivating and magical, and I am certain that we will have her singing at one of our events in the future. Thank you for setting the tone for our evening, and providing the most delightful and inspiring backdrop to the event."
