Review Centre: Solo Musicians

"Unwritten Duo performed at our wedding at The Granary Wedding Barn in March, she showed up smartly dressed and on time. She was booked to sing our first dance song and perform for 45 mintutes afterwards before the DJ took over. She sang Loving You by Minnie Riperton while we shared our first dance and it sounded absolutely incredible. She has such a stunning voice, so much better than we expected. We were all mesmerised by her throughout and thoroughly enjoyed her set. I wasn't sure what songs to pick but she chose a nice variety of tracks which everyone enjoyed. She sang for over an hour because we enjoyed it so much but she didn't mind at all and didn't try to charge any extra. Several friends of mine have booked her for their upcoming weddings/parties too. I highly recommend Joanne, she is Superb artist!"

"Miss Ivy Belle (Vikki) - Wow what a performer. She sang for our charity which is a social club for adults with learning disabilities. Vikki was amazing, her song choice was perfect and the dance floor was full for her whole performance. Every member of the club have asked for her to return. Highly recommend Miss Ivy Belle - you wont be disappointed."

"David was a wonderful professional at our wedding. His piping was superb and his attention to detail was second to none. The unexpected addition of Caroline's entrance music as an intro to his 'piping us out' was a lovely surprise. A very talented, personable piper who took the time and effort to make our day, and that of our guests, one to remember."

"The bagpipes really were the perfect start to our day. The team were so professional & obviously very talented. Honestly couldn’t recommend Alba bag pipes enough to anyone who is getting married. The guests all said how beautiful the bagpipes and drums were & how much they added to the atmosphere. We honestly can’t thank the team enough for making our day so special."

"Wow, what a singer! Lucy was an absolute star, travelling up from London with her guitarist to my party in the Midlands to help me out at short notice, as I was struggling to find an act I liked and was available for my birthday party. What I didn't realise was, not only is she absolutely lovely but she has an amazing voice, great range, a huge variety of songs and she even did me an Elvis number by special request. Her guitarist was a quality act too. I know there are lots of 10/10 ratings on here, but seriously I don't think you could give Lucy any less, if you hire her, she will make your event a special one."

"Sean was really easy to work with, great at replying really quickly to emails and texts and sent us the contract straight through. Everyone really enjoyed the set list and had a great time dancing around the fire to his music. He even managed to play a request which wasn't on his normal set list. Thanks Sean for playing at our party. Would thoroughly recommend! "

"From the start, Katie was very helpful and professional and made the planning of the music for our wedding very easy. She played and sang as I walked down the aisle and entertained our guests at the drinks reception. Everyone said how great she was and I can't recommend her enough"

"We were recommended Kirsty via Freddie, the pub manager at the Prince Albert. He gave us a few DJs to look at so we could decide for our wedding - Kirsty's communication is excellent. We corresponded via email and then found a time to talk on the phone. My then fiancée and now wife both warmed to Kirsty instantly over the phone. She is personable, with a really good understanding of music, she understands London culture, as well as the music I grew up with (and music would have enjoyed at university), and has an appreciation for the international music we requested. Her 'do not play' list was a great feature for us too, so we could make sure there were no toe-curling moments in the night or artists who we just didn't want played. She got on very well with our guests and made everyone feel at home - she has obviously spent time honing her craft as well as understanding how people tick.
