Review Centre: Solo Musicians

"Zoe played the harp at our wedding at Butley Priory on 06/04/2024. I had previously heard her play on a school trip (I am a teaching assistant) and knew straight away that I wanted her to play at my wedding! The communication between Zoe and myself was excellent. She was very efficient at replying to my queries and keeping in contact. Zoe has a huge repertoire and gave us the opportunity to choose music for my entrance, signing of the register and our exit. She helped to make suggestions for pieces that would work well and also learnt a piece that we chose that she hadn't played for a long time. She was prompt, professional and friendly. The harp she played was full size and a beautiful instrument. It sounded wonderful with the acoustics of our venue. She played while our guests arrived, during the ceremony and then at our drinks reception. This was 3 hours in total. The music was stunning, a fantastic mix of modern and traditional. So many of our guests commented on the music and how lovely it was. I would not hesitate to recommend Zoe for any wedding or event, large or small! Thank you Zoe! "

"Rory did very well and we were delighted with his performance. He played some great Disney song covers on his sax that were huge crowd pleasures and unexpected. He also added some lively backing music and ramped up towards the end of his set which we had asked for and he delivered. He was very pleasant and respectful, blended in to the background but was always nearby and could be heard, he moved around to suit the movements of the guests around the garden which was great. He definitely lifted the atmosphere and got people in more of a relaxed celebration mode! Please send our thanks for Rory, he did an excellent job for us. "I have asked Ben to help out on several occasions when organising high level events for a variety of clients. These have ranged from the Champagne Academy, the annual banquet for the Reunion de Gastronomes at Ironmongers' Hall, the annual dinner for the Confrerie du Sabre d'Or, and even cabaret performances at Jermyn Street Theatre. Ben is very versatile, will play all music types, and is a true professional, arriving early, responding to communication and always looking the part."

"Jon arrived punctually for our event and was smartly presented. Everyone was delighted with his playing which was fluid and varied. A number of special requests were made and Jon responded with enthusiasm. Nothing was too much trouble and, although Jon played for longer than we had booked, everyone would have stayed and listened to his playing all night if they had the opportunity. Jon has a light and sensitive style and is highly recommended."

"Having already heard great reports about Jack we booked him for our wedding, he attended the whole day, singing in church, during the afternoon tea and at the evening reception. It made such a difference to have exactly what we wanted and with absolutely no fuss at all. Jack took time to work with us to tailor our perfect day - our guests were overwhelmed by his talent and how special he made it. "Georgia played this New Years Eve for us. It was the first time we had a singer in the restaurant. From the moment she come till finishing she was very professional. Her vocals was amazing, she was friendly with the customers. Her range of songs varied to to suit all ages and tastes. All the customers loved her and spoke about her amazing vocals. I would definitely recommend Georgia and certainly have her back at our venue. Michelle"
