"Well Vernon I've just spent far too long trawling through your Spotify material, and I have to say it is absolutely sublime. Your guitar work on your 2013 album 'What Will You Do?' is up there with the best, thank you for bringing me so much joy. Both versions of 'Lovers in the Moonlight' (2013 and 2024) are superb. Are you sure you’re not related to George Benson? Your 1980s covers shine out like beacons too, so thank you."

"Absolutely wonderful! From first contact I was confident Ben would be as good as the reviews I’d read - but I’d no idea just how good. He completely read the audience and balanced his music from a chilled first set, while relatives and friends were catching up and socialising, through to getting us up in the dance floor and singing along to great party classics. He’s an incredible performer and everyone was asking where we found him! It was here- and now you’ve found him too, you don’t need to look any further! "

"I had to leave a review after the most fantastic night, booked to play for a 60th birthday. Thoroughly brilliant, not only played exactly what we wanted but really good banter with everyone so had us all in stitches too. His voice is faultless and the musicianship is just perfect. My hubby is a guitarist and even he was scratching his head !! I’m going to be getting our company to boom him for an event in the summer so until next time we all Thankyou for making the night memorable."

"Phil performed at our charity football tournament for The Stephen Hughes Foundation and was a fantastic addition to the day. We wanted to add live music to the day this year, and after seeing Phil perform elsewhere, we knew he would be perfect for our event. He performed an array of songs and the crowds absolutely loved him - everyone gathered round to watch and sang along. He was fantastic!"

"Rob's performances were absolutely fantastic. We had so many compliments on his voice and music choices. One of the most important parts of my day was the aisle song and his performance of it couldn't have been more perfect. His songs and voice set the romantic and at times emotional tone of the day. "The Soul Way! You were FANTASTIC at our wedding! From the impact of the very first moment you started playing, right to the end, the dance floor was full. Thank you so much for making such a party. Your rapport with each other and of course the sound you make is brilliant and I could've gone on all night. Our guests absolutely loved you too. Thanks also for using your expertise in getting the vibe just right and for learning the song my sisters and my Dad requested, it was really special. I would not hesitate to recommend you! "Was blown away by Steph when my friends and I visited The Ship Inn in Marlow. There were a range of ages and people in the venue and she catered for everyone: she gauged the crowd brilliantly! Made our night!"

"Hi to all, yes you heard it correct, my divorce party, free at last ! Ok where to start, i have known Nick for many years and have seen him do his thing many times so when it came to celebrating my new found freedom and a party was suggested by friends of mine, Nick was always going to be the only guy to play for all of us mad women, when i first mentioned my idea to Nick he did find it very amusing but agreed to put the icing on our evening. It was held in a hotel function suite, oddly enough where i had my wedding reception. He held his ground well and not intimidated by 100 crazy women and a few of my male friends, as per usual Nick played perfectly, beautiful voice and "lights out" guitar playing. Many pictures taken and he even invited me up onto his sacred stage which i have a few pics of. All in all a hugely perfect night, i know everyone on here says Nick is a true gent and has a great personality..........and it's 100% true. "

Not quite sure how to leave a reply to this one, all i can say is after all the thousands of performances i have done you were my first divorce party. A really light hearted evening with non-stop dancing, as it was my fifth show back to back it was just what i needed to finish me off for the week. Thank you for booking me to "celebrate" your new found freedom as you kept saying. xxx
