Review Centre: Solo Musicians

"We hired Giles for a corporate event/celebration at one of our pubs in Birmingham, and he was fantastic. We reviewed a bunch of potential acts for the night (over 50) and from the get go Giles stood out to us. He was quick to respond when arranging the night and checked in regularly in on the build up to the night. As for the night itself he was amazing, his set lists fit the night perfectly and everyone commented on how good he was. The use of loop pedals on the set up elevated Giles above other musicians we have used in the past and he was great at reading the room and playing the right music for the right vibe. He started the night with a more relaxed atmosphere and built on that throughout the night to a full on party which was perfect. He was incredibly professional yet very flexible with regards timings to sets, his range of songs is amazing everything from classics 60s all the way to modern hits we could not have picked a better musician for the party, I would highly recommend and look forward to hopefully booking again for future events."

"Sorry I didn't get the chance to see you before you left but Thank you! You absolutely made our wedding party - you were absolutely brilliant. We had no idea really what to expect despite hearing your CD. That told us you can certainly sing!!! But the added value of your personality, performance and charisma we could not envision really. All of our guests have commented on you, your skill and style in making the party happen; dancing before dinner and before alcohol consumed! You brought energy, atmosphere, class, fun, style, va va voom and so much more. What an excellent choice we made! We had an awesome unforgettable day and you were key to it. "Do not think twice about booking this Gospel Choir. They set the tone for the best day of our lives and it didn’t lose momentum all the way through until the end. Our guests haven’t stopped talking about the gospel choir since the wedding day (6 weeks ago!), it is literally the first thing people say to us every time they have seen us since that day. From the moment the singing began everybody there knew it was going to be magical. To top it off Laura sang the most beautiful rendition of Home by Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros for our first dance, better than the original! The day really couldn’t have worked without all of Laura’s hard work so thank you so much! "

"Ben is, without a doubt, one of the most talented musicians we have ever had the pleasure of hearing. We first came across him at a wedding fair, and after listening to him play for just a few minutes, we knew he was exactly who we wanted for our wedding day. Booking him turned out to be one of the best decisions we made. From the very beginning, Ben was professional, friendly, and incredibly accommodating. He took the time to listen to all of our requests and made sure every detail was exactly how we had imagined. His communication throughout the planning process was excellent, and nothing ever seemed like too much trouble. On the day itself, Ben was absolutely outstanding. His music created the most beautiful atmosphere, and so many of our guests commented on how incredibly talented he was. His performance was flawless, and he brought such a special touch to every part of our day. He is able to play absolutely any genre of music and even learnt a new piece for our ceremony which I had requested. What really stood out, though, was how kind and flexible he was. My sister had been rehearsing to sing during our ceremony and was feeling really nervous and struggling in the lead-up to the wedding. Despite having very little notice and only a short amount of time to prepare, Ben stepped in to accompany her on the piano. He made her feel completely at ease, adapted effortlessly, and played beautifully. It could have been a stressful situation, but thanks to Ben’s talent, professionalism, and calm nature, it became one of the most memorable and emotional moments of our day. Ben truly went above and beyond for us. Not only is he an exceptionally gifted musician, but he is also a genuinely lovely person who clearly cares about making each couple’s day as special as possible. We honestly can’t say enough positive things about him. If you’re looking for a musician for your wedding or any special occasion, we couldn’t recommend Ben more highly. He exceeded every expectation and helped create memories that we will treasure forever. Thanks Ben!"

"Vintage Ruby created a lovely atmosphere at our 'leavers' garden party with songs to listen and dance to. Each song was beautifully performed and the warmth and professional approach throughout the booking process and the event itself were fantastic. Our group ranged from 22 - 70 and everyone commented on how much they enjoyed the music. Many thanks from us all."
