Review Centre: Solo Musicians

"I book all the daytime bands and performers for Newtown Food Festival. It’s a two day free outdoor festival with a large stage, set in a park in the town centre. Abigail has been booked for the last 4 years. Professionally speaking, she is very easy to deal with, responds promptly to emails, arrives in good time, makes herself known to the organiser, sound checks, and starts and finishes the gig on time. Artistically speaking she is perfect for a Saturday lunchtime in the park, performing a varied programme of her own material and other songs from people who have influenced her. She’s confident, tuneful, and her songs appeal to a wide range of tastes. What more can I say? I like her, and she’s on my list to book again for next year!"

"Rich was easy to deal with from the start and very flexible and relaxed which in turn helped us relax on the day knowing that he was going to be ready when we needed him to be. As a pianist myself I appreciate the level of dedication he has given to performing and arranging his repertoires. Whilst I'm not a professional like Richard I do have Grade 7 and am perform keyboards with a band so I was quite particular about who we hired to play. Not only for me but also for our guests, many of whom were musical also! 10/10!!"

"We booked Becky and Josh for our wedding 3 weeks ago and when I say they exceeded expectations and more that would be an understatement. They were unbelievable from start to finish and our guests are still talking about how fabulous they were to this day. I wish I could have them at every birthday/celebration/event we have! "I have seen Chris perform on a number of occasions now and am always keeping my eye out for his next appearance. His guitar skills are incredible and the songs he plays, both covers and originals are unique. With a voice to go with it that suits a wide range of styles and genres, he really is fantastic to watch and listen to. "

"Earlier this year Sam played as the piper for a charity Burns night. He began the evening by piping guests in to the building and then continued to pipe throughout the evening including with the top table and during thr address to the haggis. Sam's piping skills set the tone for the evening and made everyones night enjoyable. He was very professional and made time to interact with the guests, further improving our experience. Thank you Sam I would recommend you for anyone who is looking for a friendly and professional piper. "

"Mack created a brilliant atmosphere at our daughter’s wonderful wedding in the sunshine last weekend- we loved how he led all our guests from the little chapel through the trees to the Castle like the Pied Piper- he created such a fun vibe! Our guests loved the chilled music and he happily played a request from one of our cousins. We would highly recommend him!"
