"It all went wonderfully . The band were professional , friendly and great performers from start to finish . We really enjoyed having them and hopefully they enjoyed the day too . They got people dancing and the music was varied and upbeat which is what I asked for . There were 4 generations at the party and the music catered for all . ( I did stop my step grandaughter and her friends trying to change the between sets music to rap ... so all was good , but we did have to submit to some of it at 1 a.m . ). The band members were all friendly and approachable and they were fantastic . Alison .. would recommend and have them again x"

Great musicians, wonderful vocals and perfect song choices. You really picked up the vibe of the crowd and played what they wanted to hear. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend you."

"What can I say other than they made our evening. We couldn't have asked for a better set up and they were exactly what we needed after the formalities of the day. Everyone was up dancing (even my Uncle had nicked one of their wigs and was on the dance floor at one point and he has never danced in his life!!). I would highly recommend them to anyone. Thanks again, will be recommending you and the artist to our other friends who will be getting married this/next year."

"I recently watched Unwritten Duo at a gig and they were amazing! Jo’s voice is stunning and she sings with such passion that you can feel the music The guys are all very talented musicians who complement each other and the vocals perfectly! Definitely watch Unwritten Duo perform if you can - they are as fun as they are talented!"

"The sax player beforehand was brilliant letting me know that he was getting the train and what time it arrived so this put my mind at rest and felt really chilled going in to it! When Rory arrived he came and introduced himself to me and let me know the plan. So I was really happy and excited as I know this was going to make my husband's night!"

"We booked Dizzy Brascalls for our wedding two weeks ago, and we're still riding the high now! These guys put on an incredible show; they really got everyone on their feet, and I've had so many guests tell me how unique and entertaining it was. There's a reason these guys are going from strength to strength recently; they are incredibly talented musicians, and their show, from the song choices to the energy they put in, is an absolute crowd pleaser from beginning to end. Dave was also fantastic to speak with for the admin side ruining up to the wedding; really friendly and approachable, happy to answer any questions and tailor the show to our day specifically. The band turned up right on time and got straight to work without a word, leaving me and the new wife free to enjoy the day while everything was taken care of for us. We also had the DJ set for the remainder of the night, and they worked hard to understand our musical tastes beforehand, and ended up playIng some absolute bangers to keep us going until the early hours. If you're considering booking Dizzy Brasscals for any event, just do it. I guarantee you won't regret it!"

"Last night at Whighams we had a world music night which was one of the best nights we have ever had. First up Bossa Nova & MPB. For the last few months I have been lucky enough to work with Sergio and Kevin in this trio playing Brazilian music. We met at a jam session organised by Ash Gupta and are playing regularly. For me it is a welcome change and an opportunity to play a different style. Next up we had a fantastic band from Latvia playing a highly melodic jazz funk set which went down really well and was appreciated by the audience. Finally the evening was closed off with a fantastic flamenco set which was just terrific, I knew what Danielo Olivera and his group would do and was sure the Whighams crew would love it and they did! An excellent and very memorable night that I was delighted to be involved with and a highlight of the music program that Kevin and Graeme Knox put together. "

"A few friends and I went to see G Celtic Folk Rock Band in Pontefract on Friday. What a fantastic talented bunch of musicians these guys are. They delivered punchy folk rock songs, which are mostly their own with a few individual interpretations of some classics throughout the night. Brilliant stuff and highly entertaining. A great venue too, and cannot wait for them to return."
