Review Centre: 1950s & 60s Style Bands

"The Backbeats played at our Silver Wedding anniversary party at Grindleton Pavilion last Saturday. As soon as the band started playing, people were immediately up on the dance floor. Despite the difference in age range of our guests, the music played by the band seemed to appeal to everyone. Having the Backbeats perform as a live band created a lively atmosphere. All our guests thought they were wonderful. A band definitely to be recommended."

"Just want to say Steve and the guys made our Christmas party at Mentmore on the 14th December one to remember, a fantastic acoustic set to lead off followed by an electric set to keep the party going. Hard to believe they have only been together a short while as everything was so tight especially for such a long set – also had time to fit in a request or two. Keep it going guys, looking forward to seeing you again"

"The Blue Suede Shoes were amazing. With their professional and clear communication leading up to the day we knew we would be in safe hands. On the night they came in and set up without fuss and when the time came to play they really got our guests up and dancing. Their playlist is extensive and was enjoyed by all our guests. With their friendly and fun attitude we're so glad we had them to create the perfect soundtrack to our wedding reception."

"So many things to say about this band completely took our entire wedding by surprise with the quality of music they produce, by the neatness of every member and the fact they were on par with everything we had asked for. "Couldn't recommend the band more, they were truly amazing! Funk'N'Soul performed at a corporate party for us, they came with a DJ included which was a bonus. Everyone was dancing and had an incredible evening. Will definitely use them again"
