"Ellen was such a special part of our wedding day. From the very beginning, her communication was warm, clear, and reassuring — and the demos she shared made us so excited. (I now frequently relisten to relive my wedding day!) On the day itself, her voice was absolutely stunning. It truly brought a magical atmosphere to the ceremony and drinks reception, and so many of our guests commented on how beautiful her performance was. "Rob was absolutely outstanding- what a delight! He really added the most wonderful ambiance to our drinks reception, and what a brilliant voice he has. We had lots of people come and tell us how brilliant he was and what a nice selection of songs he sang. So grateful we were able to have Rob and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend him - he was faultless. We are actually thinking of booking him for our own summer party at our house! Rob, you really were outstanding."

"Dave played for my wife's birthday party last night. A small venue with 50 guests, Dave sang a great range of music to keep everyone entertained. Lots of guests asking for details which is a recommendation in itself. Thanks Dave you were brilliant !!!!"

"Ellen was our wedding singer during our reception drinks on 5th September 2025. We booked Ellen through encore musicians and as soon as we came across Ellen, we knew we couldn't hesitate with booking with her straight away. Ellen is probably the nicest wedding musician you will come across, it was an absolute pleasure dealing with Ellen whether through emails or zoom calls always super friendly, always checking in, making sure everything is in place and we didn't have to think about anything, Ellen made sure the day was smooth and even learnt 3 songs of our choice. Ellen has the ABSOLUTE best voice and is super talented - we had many comments from our guests during their time getting drinks at the bar at how amazing she sounded. Would not hesititate to book Ellen again and highly recommend her for all events! Thanks again, Holly & Liam xx"

"We just wanted to say a massive thank you for the fantastic afternoon you gave us, playing at our wedding at High Rocks on 23rd September. All of guests were absolutely bowled over by the beautiful selection you gave us and your wonderful playing. We had comments all day long - it completely made our champagne reception for us and all our guests! The song we asked you to play for my entrance down the aisle really meant a lot to me and you played and arranged it so beautifully, will real sincerity. A few of the guests filmed my entrance and sent the video on to me and every time I have watched it I have been struck by how beautifully you played. From the moment we booked you we were confident you would do a fantastic job, all the communications from you were so clear and friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Thank you so much for everything! You really made our wedding ceremony and champagne reception truly fantastic!"

"I recently celebrated my 50th birthday weekend with a group of family and friends and I wanted live music for the first night, as a way of gathering everyone together. I had heard good reviews of Phil Short Acoustic, and through personal recommendation from a trusted friend, so I went ahead and booked him. I absolutely could not have made a better choice! Phil was more than accommodating with the song choices I had, and had some fantastic suggestions of his own. He was so friendly and professional throughout my booking. On the evening of the event he had set everything up for the performance without any intrusion on either myself or guests. His performance was amazing! He played a fantastic selection, with some brilliant surprises, and encouraged people to sing along and even took requests. He absolutely brought everyone together and started the weekend celebrations on fantastic high. I cannot recommend Phil highly enough – book him, you will not be disappointed!"

"Stuart was very easy to deal with. He was very accommodating to our needs and provided excellent entertainment to our guests before the ceremony. He played in in and out of the library and keept our guests amused whilst we had photos taken. Our guests all commented on how good her was. Would totally recommend him."
