"While I haven't seen David Barnes live, I have followed him via Facebook and Youtube as well as that old stand by, radio. Whether it is an interview, a comic bit on Facebook or a proper performance, one thing rises to the surface every time-his ability to connect deeply with his audience. Combine this spectacular feat with his stunning musical talents and you have the recipe for a great and moving time. I find over and over that this ability of his to draw you into his music, his world, leaves you feeling like you were the one singing in front of thousands. His energy and expressiveness serve only to cradle his beautiful voice. If Dave's music and voice isn't part of your heart yet, get to it, life is too short to not be filled with pure joy."

"We were delighted to have you there as part of the celebrations and your beautiful playing before the service was much enjoyed by everyone. You also proved to be a brilliantly sensitive accompanist; I think everyone was in tears as the bride walked down the aisle to the violin and harp rendition of “My love is like a red red rose.” And all your hard work in transposing an accompaniment for the Shostakovich Romance was so impressive. Your professionalism and wonderful performance made the day extra special, and I would be happy to recommend your services to anyone."

""Stephen saved the day for us! At a short notice (3 hours) we booked Stephen to play a 1 hour set. He soon had us up on our feet with a fantastic mix of current and older music! We couldn't get enough and asked if he could extend his set, which wasn't a problem for him at all! "Emily is a lovely person and a very talented guitar player. She and Libby performed a song together with Emily playing the guitar accompaniment and it was absolutely lovely. Emily was so kind and generous with her time too, and met up with us to practice the song before the wedding then kept in touch to arrange times etc to meet on the day. We would recommend her very highly and wish her all the best for the future. "

"Ant was an integral part of our wedding and such fun to work with. He listened to exactly what we were after and even though our first dance wasn't already in his repertoire, he more than happily went away and came up with a beautiful arrangement for our big day. I've had the pleasure of seeing Ant play both covers and his own original material and love his work. He has a truly wonderful voice which pulls you in. On top of it all, he was just a lovely bloke to work with. Thanks for making our day complete Ant!"

"Nigel’s playing was perfection personified! He played for the arrival of the guests and all through the wedding breakfast only taking a short break during the speeches. He even continued after the agreed time as everyone was enjoying his playing so much and it really lifted the occasion. His choice of music and playing styles fit the mood of the afternoon so well and we had lots of positive feedback from our guests. You rarely hear people applaud “back ground” music but this happened almost after every song played. He added a real sense of sophistication and substance to our wedding. It was present but not overbearing. We will be booking him again in the future and wholeheartedly recommend his services. "

"Sarah was amazing from the first phone call, to the actual event. On the actual day of my wife's Birthday party, she set up quickly and had everyone up and dancing with her great song choices and stage presence. We were even able to request certain songs that my wife loves that she made sure she learnt just for us. 10/10 would recommend for any party!"

"I had been planning our garden party for well over a year, I had the Marquee the food and beer tents sorted just needed entertainment. After a-lot of researching I came across this duo. From first contact with Tom, to actually meeting them on the day of our Party everything went smoothly. The weather tried its best to dampen the mood but with Tom and Bobbi singing their hearts out (and not forgetting DJ’ing) they had the crowd on their feet dancing the night away . Our garden party will be talked about and remembered for a long time. I can honestly say if you want the BEST entertainment for any type of party I highly recommend Beats and Bobs!"

"Lucy's performance was perfect for our requirements. She was a very classy performer, she was dressed for a wedding in a beautiful dress and heels. She has a lovely voice, was very pleasant during her performance and worked with us to deliver a perfect music set for the day. Guest and Sat the owner of the hotel commented how good she was."
