Review Centre: Solo Musicians

"Rose was wonderful with the “oldies” - although we had 6 songs for them to join in with a sing- a- long they joined in with everything!! She encouraged people to join in and to get up and dance, my 90 year old mum was up dancing with her friends. It was absolutely wonderful and they haven’t stopped talking about it - a wonderful time was had by all. One of the highlights was a lady,who doesn’t interact much and is wheelchair bound, as soon as Rose started singing she was tapping her hands and was swaying in time to the music - an emotional moment. My mother was unaware that we had booked Rose who managed to set up very discretely, she was very friendly and accommodating. The guests were thrilled with her choice of songs and commented on her lovely voice. She was the highlight of the 90th party celebrations - Would recommend her 100%."

"My daughters arranged a surprise party for my 60th birthday and hired Jim to come and play his guitar. It was the cherry on the top of a truly memorable occasion. The music he played was perfect for both the occasion and the venue, and I would recommend him to anybody. He turned a wonderful celebration into the perfect celebration, and all my guests said how much they enjoyed his playing."

"I just wanted to drop you a line and say a huge thank you for playing at our wedding in April. I can't tell you how wonderful it was to be getting ready upstairs and to hear the harp playing from the other side of the garden. It was so calming and peaceful when I felt so nervous at the time!! The harp made every part of the wedding so special - as I made my entrance, as we made our way back down the aisle and during the drinks reception outside. We had so many comments from our guests to compliment you and to say how lovely it was to hear the harp during the day. "Mark sung Summertime at my mum’s funeral. It was the first time I met Mark and he is a lovely guy and a beautiful musician. Mark was very professional, punctual and beautifully turned out. He is a very sensitive musician and put his heart and soul into his set. Unfortunately, we were limited by time otherwise we would have had him play for longer. He captured the mood perfectly and it was emotional. Mark has a beautiful voice, and he made our mum’s funeral really personal and very special. Thank you, Mark, I hope we get to hear you sing again one day. If you do any public gigs, please let us know. "

"Nicky was brilliant very friendly, played lovely music, we booked Nicky to play chilled covers for x 2 half hour sessions which really suited our afternoon celebrations in the sun outside in the courtyard area of the venue."

"5-star google review: An amazing pianist, he has such a wide repertoire of different genres and is happy to take on learning other tracks specific to your requirements. We booked Nigel to play for the guests arrival and during the time between the wedding ceremony and the wedding breakfast. We supplied a list of tunes we did want and also a list of specific artists music we wanted to avoid and then asked him to “read the room”, after all, he does this more often than we do! The music was unobtrusive yet also very present and many guests remarked on the music choice and what a wonderful musician he is. We can’t recommend him highly enough. Thank you Nigel for truly adding to our special day."
