Review Centre: Singing Guitarists

"Having seen James and the Giant Beat several times previously we were delighted to have him perform at my husbands 60th Birthday party last Saturday. From my first communications with him he was courteous and helpful and with a huge repertoire of songs to chose from, it was easy to pick hubby’s favourites - plus all the crowd pleasers! On the night James was punctual and engaged early on with the crowd. Before we knew it many guests were up and dancing and in the second set the place was literally rocking. Many guests commented on how much they enjoyed James’s unique and quirky interpretation of songs and how much fun it was trying to guess the song from the intro. I would have no hesitation booking him again, really amazing ? "

We had a little back garden party and the atmosphere he created with him music was great all are guests have been telling us how amazing the night went because we had booked ollie so thank-you very much ollie and we look forward to booking you again x "

"Alfie managed to fit us in at the last minute following a cancellation. Alfie was exactly what we wanted, he captured the tone of our family village party and played a variety of songs to suit all ages. We will definitely be having Alfie again for events and he will be our first call in the future. Thanks Alfie, we look forward to seeing you again."

"John was absolutely brilliant !! He made the party for us by setting the atmosphere as soon as he started to play. He has an extensive repertoire from 60's to more recent music and his Johnny Cash tribute was very very good!! He is professional / undemanding and tries hard to fulfil expectations, which he did admirably!! We are so grateful to you John!!! and what a lovely man as well. Thankyou"

"My husband and I first saw Martha Jones perform at a little bar in the Northern Quarter in Manchester on a random Thursday night, we called in for one drink and found ourselves glued to our seats when we heard Morgan sing. Her voice is absolutely captivating and her style is so cool and effortless. When she had finished her set we had a chat and asked if she could perform at our wedding rehearsal party the night before our wedding, it was only two weeks before and Morgan went out of her way to learn songs that meant something to us (gotta love Prince!) nothing was too much for her. She performed so fantastically and everyone said it absolutely made their day! The atmosphere was amazing because of you Martha and honestly if we could have we would have cancelled our other music at the wedding and had you. You are such a talent! Thank you so much. We can’t recommend you enough. "

"We were so lucky to have Hannah perform at our wedding — she was incredible from start to finish. Not only is she a hugely talented guitarist with a beautiful voice, but she was also efficient, friendly, and so easy to work with throughout the whole process. She sang all of our favourite songs flawlessly, and even went the extra mile to learn new ones especially for our big day — something we’ll always appreciate. Her music added so much emotion and atmosphere to the ceremony and reception, and so many of our guests commented on how amazing she was. If you're looking for someone who brings genuine talent, warmth, and professionalism to your wedding, we couldn’t recommend Hannah highly enough."

"We looked for ages to find an acoustic country singer guitarist for during our wedding meal, we're so glad we found him! He adapt his style to suit what we wanted perfectly. A lovely country background atmosphere was just what we were looking for and he created that for us. "

"David has performed at The Snaffle Bit numerous times, and he has been an incredible addition to our pub. He is an amazing performer and musician. David has a way of performing as a solo act while at the same time knowing when to include our customers in his performances. On various occasions David has let our customers choose a song that he will play and let our patrons sing to on the microphone. Many of our regular customers have requested that he come back and perform at The Snaffle. We have a wide variety of young and old customers and David has mastered the art of playing old school and current music, in an effort to cater to the masses which he does very well. We really enjoy having him in our pub and I highly recommend him as an artist."
