"What a truly fabulous man and service, from the enquiry to the event itself, John was courteous, sensitive and accommodating helping us celebrate our beautiful dad's life in a way he would most certainly have wanted. Nothing was too much trouble, he had every possible song we asked for across 7 decades and his lovely voice was an unexpected bonus. "Now! Being a lover of Blues, Rock and all that manly testosterone pumping music, I was amazed when I first heard Sam sing. Straight away I thought Karen Carpenter then Dana the 70’s Irish vocalist. Sam has a beautiful voice and stage presents, some might say angelic? Yes Angelic, that’s it, a look and sound that captures you the minute she starts to sing. I’ve watch Sam’s audiences on many occasion and they look mesmerised as the sight of this tiny person with this beautiful voice. It’s that serendipity moment, finding something of great value by chance. I can only say that watching Sam Lyon for the first time is like watching your first sunrise and being overwhelmed with the gradual warmth of that beam of light that shines on your face. I know, it sounds cheesy but it’s exactly how I felt when I first heard her and I’m a Rock and Blues guy to the bone, but this little ray of sunshine is truly an experience you won't regret going to see. Watch the horizon :)"

She brought excitement and intrigue and did not fail to deliver with a thoroughly enjoyable set. I wish I'd booked her for longer! "Middlewich was treated to a Taste of Sam Lyon when she performed for the invited guests, sponsors and winners at the Town’s Oscars ceremony in early March. Sam wowed the audience with the range of her songs, the skill of her guitar playing and the sheer melody and dreaminess of her singing. She brought smiles to people’s faces and joy to their hearts. We can’t wait to welcome Sam back in June, to feature on the main live stage and playing to a packed audience on Sunday afternoon of the Middlewich FAB Festival. "
