"I have recently booked Sarah for an annual event for the second year and once again was very happy. Sarah is very easy to work with, both before and after the event, calm and professional, which made my job a lot easier. Sarah's voice has a lovely quality which provided a nice ambience as guests arrived and we received a lot of compliments. I would not hesitate to recommend her for any kind of event and would definitely use her again."

"John arrived early to set up. He was friendly and accommodating regarding song choice as we had a variety of ages at the party. He had people up dancing with the music he chose. The volume wasn't too loud so people could still chat and not have to shout. Everyone had a great night and I would highly recommend Valencks Solo Band for a good entertainment."

"We were so lucky to have Hannah perform at our wedding — she was incredible from start to finish. Not only is she a hugely talented guitarist with a beautiful voice, but she was also efficient, friendly, and so easy to work with throughout the whole process. She sang all of our favourite songs flawlessly, and even went the extra mile to learn new ones especially for our big day — something we’ll always appreciate. Her music added so much emotion and atmosphere to the ceremony and reception, and so many of our guests commented on how amazing she was. If you're looking for someone who brings genuine talent, warmth, and professionalism to your wedding, we couldn’t recommend Hannah highly enough."

"Claire is an outstanding musician who made our daughters wedding special. Communication was easy and Claire listened to what was required even changing the song choice to allow our granddaughter to sing alongside her. A wonderful day thank you Claire. "Just perfect. I don’t know what more we could have wanted from JG. We were looking for someone to gently invite our audience onto the dance floor and keep them there. We found him to be warm, professional, and a very talented musician. JG's communication and professionalism leading up to the event were excellent. He felt like a comfortable pair of dancing shoes, I knew from the way he worked with us via email (other options were available), that he would make our event a success. He asked for and listened to details of our audience and developed a suitable playlist from the small selection of songs we provided. The audience was invited to make requests but everyone was happy dancing and we didn’t need to. He had us all up on the dance floor for the whole session. Our audience was 24-68 and somehow he appealed to them all. The quality of his sound and voice was fantastic and I was pleased that the volume was pitched just right as we were in a small space where it could have been deafening. He turned up on time, was calm and organized (when I wasn’t), set himself up without any fuss, managed to chat with us to check things out, and actually just made me feel more relaxed and then suddenly he was changed into new clothes and started the party off! He made no demands. Played a fabulous range of music to appeal to everyone over the allocated amount of time and then finished, tidied up, and left again with no fuss yet with a friendly, sunny disposition."

"We booked The Man in the Blue Shades and I can’t rate him enough. I sent him songs guests had asked for and all my favourite tracks he played sax too and he covered everything and more. So talented, friendly and brings high energy to his performance interacting with guests dancing with bride and having a really good laugh I will be booking again he’s amazing!!!"
