Review Centre: Solo Musicians

"We booked Andy for our Silver Wedding Anniversary party, of around 50 people in attendance. From the moment of enquiring, Andy was able to answer any questions I had and communication via email, was always responded to quickly. On our party night, Andy was prompt and we agreed to four sets of 30 mins each. The music was fantastic and a good combination of old and new. Andy has a true talent, and our guests loved his performances as well as having the opportunity to chat with Andy in between sets. Andy also provided background music in between sets, so guests could have a good dance. Again, this was a perfect combination of artists to suit our taste, which we discussed prior to the evening. As a gift to my husband, I also purchased a personalised song from Andy, alongside the framed lyrics. Whilst I have yet to give this to my husband, I can honestly say the song made me cry the first time I listened to it. Andy was able to take the past 25 years of our married life (which I had emailed an overview of), and he transposed this into a song beautifully, which simply speaks from the heart. It is such a perfect touch to our silver wedding celebration, and will be treasured. I highly recommend Andy as a musician and songwriter. Andy has an amazing talent which should be shown off. All of our guests commented how fantastic he is and I am currently spreading the word to follow Andy on Spotify! Simply fantastic! We can’t thank Andy enough for making our night even more special."

"Alex was an absolute joy to listen to; a very talented musician. We had a small wedding and somehow, in a good way, Alex almost felt like another guest rather than someone we had not met before. People of all ages enjoyed listening to him play, I would recommend him to anyone. "

"Wow just wow! Book this man immediately he is just fantastic. He made my Dad’s 80th birthday a night to remember. Everyone was up singing and dancing and more importantly everyone was smiling. He played something for everyone and even requests were catered for. Dan felt like a party guest - he was friendly and charming. Communication was brilliant all the way too. "Well, where do we start? From start to finish Raphael was absolutely amazing! We turned up at the reception venue and he was already set up and playing (as it was a surprise wedding gift from me to my husband) and he just totally entertained all of the guests throughout both of his sets with many Of the songs previously requested. All of the guests said what a lovely guy he was too! It was also lovely that he chatted with not only us but many of the guests afterwards. What an absolute gent! We would absolutely recommend Raphael to anyone moving forward! 10/10 from us! "

"Naomi was the violinist for our wedding. She was responsible for all of the music during the day, including the ceremony, reception and first dance. We have to say that she is incredibly talented in her own right as a violinist. We gave her a list of songs to play and despite their contrasting styles she was able to play them in such stunning fashion. She was able to add layers to songs that you could not imagine. Her music created such a beautiful backdrop to the day and our guests loved it. She was also such a lovely person and we can’t thank her enough for being part of our wedding. We would highly recommend her."

"After doing my research for the perfect saxophone player for my friend's 30th, I came across Mark and after reading his profile and all the wonderful reviews people had left I was keen to book him as nobody else really compared to his experience. His communication was great & we was so pleased he managed to fit us in on the day we needed as he had another party that day to attend . As it was a surprise for my friend's 30th he did not fail to deliver! He went above and beyond to make the surprise run as smoothly as possible and I can’t thank him enough he really did make the day!! He was so lovely & absolutely fantastic from start to finish. We have already recommended him to some of our friends & we would highly recommend him to anyone . I also wouldn’t hesitate to contact Mark for any future parties of ours. "Elysium Cello Duo was a fantastic choice for accompanying our wedding breakfast. They were professional, fun and excellent cellists. They gave us the opportunity to choose from an extensive playlist which includes classical, folk, jazz, pop music and film and TV tracks, and they even added a couple of our favourites from Les Miserables. Having a cellist duo gives more variation to the music as they play off each other - each taking on different aspects of the music. We would highly recommend them for any occasion where great music is wanted."
