We were so lucky to find you at short notice and really appreciate the time, care and calming humour you brought to us in our planning coffee. Gareth Giles is a truly lovely man to work with and made all our musical dreams come true with apt suggestions and help with the detailing of the order of service. His playing is pure genius and any couples reading this looking for a highly talented, experienced church musician who also happens to be a lovely, funny man to work with should NOT hesitate to book him - you will not be disappointed. "Jon was an amazing addition to our day, it was a pleasure to have him join us and play throughout our wedding breakfast and ceremony. " Last month I was incredibly lucky enough to see Gareth Giles in concert. I am so very glad I saw this wonderful man perform because I now feel for ever changed by my experience of Gareth. From beginning to end I was spellbound – never before have I experienced such energy, style, change of emotions, playful fun, gravitas – all in one afternoon I simply never wanted the performance to end. I was either moved to tears by Nimrod, excited by the powerful Sabre dance, sent to heaven with 'summer time' and stayed for a while with 'The Summer Knows '. I won't be happy until I have bought all Gareth's CDs! ...... And if I start talking about his Gershwin I will never stop typing! Thank you Gareth for this indescribably wonderful experience. "Rich was easy to deal with from the start and very flexible and relaxed which in turn helped us relax on the day knowing that he was going to be ready when we needed him to be. As a pianist myself I appreciate the level of dedication he has given to performing and arranging his repertoires. Whilst I'm not a professional like Richard I do have Grade 7 and am perform keyboards with a band so I was quite particular about who we hired to play. Not only for me but also for our guests, many of whom were musical also! 10/10!!"

"Gareth - thank you SO much for your playing at my dear late wife's memorial celebration service of thanks for her long, happy life. You were so kind and helpful with suggestions of hymns and the idea of 'panos angelicus' in the middle like a pause for thought and reflection worked so well. We were all stirred and strengthened by your rendition of 'Nimrod' at the conclusion and, as you saw - we all stayed right to the end before leaving St. John's ! Such a grand, celebratory and fitting closure for us. If anybody is reading this and looking for an organist I cannot - and I speak for all my family - recommend GARETH GILES highly enough Thank you again, sincerely"
