"The Cheers were one of the best decisions we made for our wedding! Even at the booking stages they were excellent at communication and answered all of our queries, making wedding planning that bit less stressful! On the day of the wedding, we were running a little late but The Cheers were completely understanding of this and patiently and calmly waited until everything was ready for them. It was definitely a bonus to not have to rush around trying to fit perfectly to schedules and to just enjoy the day! Our first dance song was absolutely stunning. We preferred it to the original version and are keen to get an MP3 or copy of it somehow! They performed it so beautifully! The rest of the sets were also fantastic- the music was perfect for guests of all generations- everybody knew the songs and danced! The Cheers' stage presence was brilliant- they really got everybody going! Everybody was on the dance floor enjoying themselves and the band too also clearly love what they do which was a joy to see! We've honestly had so many compliments over our fantastic choice of musicians. The Cheers are wonderfully talented and cover a fantastic range of songs. Everybody absolutely loved them! Thank you so so much to The Cheers! I recommend them completely! "

"What a fantastic band. Mark and his group were brilliant - everything we had hoped for. Mark did a solo acoustic set at the beginning, which was the perfect backdrop to people arriving and chatting. Then he and the band played 2 brilliant sets, getting everyone on the dancefloor. Mark was a brilliant communicator - listened to our requests and took them into account for the sets. He was also brilliant at engaging with the party. Top marks - would 100% recommend!"

Any questions we had prior to the Wedding you were always available it made the planning so easy for us. We have honestly had the most amount of compliments about you guys; you really did get the party going playing a whole range of tunes to suit everyone. "I booked The Fortes for my brother's 30th last weekend. It was in our private garden and we were assured the volume wouldn't be overwhelming. The guys got the sound volume just perfect. What a band, seriously! A great mix of music which made an amazing party atmosphere, just what we wanted. They were ALL so polite and nothing was so much trouble. A pleasure to have at the party and I highly recommend them. Will be booking again in the future. Thankyou"

"Brilliant band and 100% recommend!!! We had them for our wedding in Somerset. Great communication, played all of the type of music we requested, they got everyone up dancing (and laughing with their sense of humour) and it was all done in a professional way. "What a night! Our party was such an incredible success and the main topic of conversation centred around just how great the band were. When you book this band, you are not just booking a band to play music, you are booking a full on stage show. The whole band are a great bunch of musicians, with Peter at the front who is a fantastic showman and kept our guests entertained for the whole evening. The dance floor was heaving for most of the evening and our guests kept asking for more as the guys finished their final song, and they played on for a few more songs. I cannot thank you all enough for creating a wonderful atmosphere and entertaining us all which ensured our party was a runaway success. Even now two days later, people are coming up to me talking about the band. I would love to have the opportunity to book again at some point."

"Oh my god , they are amazing. No one left the dance floor and we wanted more. No one wanted the party to end which exactly what we wanted for our special day. Jeremy the singer was insane and so legendary. I can’t recommend Straight Up enough. "
