"Elysium Cello Duo was a fantastic choice for accompanying our wedding breakfast. They were professional, fun and excellent cellists. They gave us the opportunity to choose from an extensive playlist which includes classical, folk, jazz, pop music and film and TV tracks, and they even added a couple of our favourites from Les Miserables. Having a cellist duo gives more variation to the music as they play off each other - each taking on different aspects of the music. We would highly recommend them for any occasion where great music is wanted."

"Kirsty was amazing, she absolutely nailed the brief and really got the crowd going. The dancefloor was full the whole evening and she managed to get all guest requests in. She was absolutely awesome and really took the time to understand what we wanted. She went above and beyond at every step – even helping us with other wedding bits like lighting etc. Would hesitate to book Kirsty again, she really made the evening so special and we couldn’t be more grateful – thank you so so much!!!"

"Hi Dermot Just to thank you for your and the band's entertainment gig at our daughters's recent wedding. It was obvious that each band member was a professional both in proficency of instrument and presentation of the music. I was also impressed with the mix of old classical Irish (re O'Carolan) and the more recent lively musical pieces. Indeed, the songs also exhibited this diversity with noted classics and singalong standards. It was assuring when the band arrived with ample time for set-up and ready to play on cue. Thanks again. "I would highly recommend Joe, he was very professional from the first time I contacted him. Prior to the event we requested a few songs that were not in his repertoire and he was very obliging in making sure he brushed up on them. His singing was brilliant and it just made the party very special. If you hire Joe I assure you that you will not be disappointed he is definitely worth every penny. "

"Fabulous Sax player and entertainer, we hosted a fundraising event with 150 people, The Man in the Blue Shades’ music choice was great and really engaged the audience who were up dancing and loved it. Just fabulous would highly recommend The Man in the Blue Shades. "
