"Tonight we had a new duo called Shaun & Carrie, male and female: they sang the right songs for the dancers. Shaun & Carrie had great voices and they have been rebooked: well done, see you both next time."

"We spent a long time looking for the perfect band for our wedding and The Leathernecks did not disappoint. We spend a lot of time at gigs and festivals so the bar was already set very high. We chose The Leathernecks after watching some of their performances online and finding that their repertoire contained a lot of our favourite bands. We had a introduction call with Nick who could not have been any nicer or more helpful. The band were absolutely fantastic and our guests all commented on just how good they were. We told Nick that Courteeners are our favourite band and asked if they could perform 'Take over the world' for our first dance, during the set Nick also included other Courteeners songs for us which was a lovely additional touch. We would definitely recommend them to anyone planning an event. God Bless the Band"

"We booked Dave months and months ago to play at our wedding after a million and one positive reviews. He is absolutely amazing. He was professional, kind, friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Communication was always easy and he answered all questions we had and was extremely accommodating during uncertain times. We had nothing but smiles on the faces of our guests during the welcome drinks when Dave was playing. I am now trying to think of another event we can book him for just to listen to more! Thank you Dave. You are one of life’s good eggs."

"What a night, what a band! We had the Oceanview Band play at our wedding and they were absolutely amazing! From the start, we dealt directly with Adam, who was incredibly responsive, helpful, and made the whole planning process smooth and stress-free. On the night, the band brought incredible energy - the dance floor was full all night long. They catered to all ages with a great mix of music and even involved some of the younger guests in their performance, which was such a lovely touch. So many of our guests commented on how brilliant they were. We couldn’t have asked for better - highly recommend!"

"You had everyone on their feet non-stop, and everyone commented on what a fantastic performance you gave. I actually fractured my rib two days before the wedding, but I couldn’t stop dancing cos every song was perfect and there was never one I felt I could sit out. I wasn’t the only one who couldn’t get enough, from aged 2 to 82 all of our guests really enjoyed your music and had a fantastic time. I can’t believe you learnt our first dance in less than a week – thank you so much! It was amazing and so much better to have it performed live by you guys. We’ve already had a couple of friends asking for your details for future events, and we would certainly highly recommend you to anyone we know looking for amazing live music. I hope you enjoyed the evening too, we really had the most fantastic time! "

All the guests were truly impressed and loved the mix of soul, dance and rock covers that went down so well with young and older guests alike! We’ve had many compliments since, saying you were one of the best wedding bands our guests had seen. "Sorry for the delay in writing, but i would like to say a massive THANK YOU for recommending 'Party Sounds' and arranging for them to play at our Silver Wedding Celebrations. They were everything I had hoped they would be, and more. I was impressed that Mark took the time and trouble to keep in touch with me by telephone rather than by email (which can get a bit messy) and to discuss our likes and dislikes about the music for the evening. They arrived on time at the golf club and we just left the rest to them. It was lovely to be able to put trust in their professionalism and knowledge of their clients preferences to play all evening. We had kept it a closely guarded secret from our guests that we were having a band, and they were really impressed and pleased with what they saw and heard. My one regret is that I was mixing and talking with our guests so much that I didn't really get to fully appreciate the band as I would if I were a guest at someone else's party! I am trying to talk my friends into doing the same, so that I can listen to them again. However, whenever I did draw breath, the sound was exactly like they were playing a CD version of the song - I had to keep checking that it was actually Mark and his colleagues who were really singing - and, oh boy , it most definitely was!! So thank you once again, and please feel free to use my words as recommendation to others. 'Party Sounds' would definitely be my first choice of music for any events in the future. I don't even think I would consider hiring a DJ ever again :)"
