"I had booked Emeralds for a couple of hours for my husbands 40th birthday. Before the event Wilf was in touch with me and we went over last minute details. Wilf came and played the steel pan beautifully as the guests arrived. It set a relaxing entrance for people to come and mingle before the dj began his music. A great start to the party and my guests loved to music too. Thank you last minute music and and obviously Wilf from The Emeralds too."

"Laura was an absolute delight to deal with when we were making arrangements for our big day. On the day she arrived with plenty of time, got herself set up without issue and played beautifully throughout the guests' arrival and into the ceremony. The bride was (predictably!) very late and Laura played on without any fuss, well past the time we had actually booked her for which really was above and beyond! We are so grateful to Laura for making our wedding day absolutely perfect! We cannot recommend her highly enough!"

"Jack was really fantastic at our event. He was very easy to deal with before, giving me a call a few days before to finalise details. He turned up on time, was very little effort to look after, and played some excellent music throughout, just the right vibe for a relaxed afternoon party. I should have pressed him to take more of a break, because I think he just kept on playing, beyond the timings we booked him for. Overall, he was really excellent & made a huge difference to our event, with lots of the guests commenting on how much they liked him."

"We booked Surrey Strings through Last Minute Musicians to play at a 90th birthday lunch celebration. The musicians were absolutely excellent and many people commented on how well they played. We would have no hesitation in booking them again or recommending both Last Minute Musicians and Surrey Strings."

"Good Afternoon, I just want to take the time to Thank You as Ian has just left and he was just wonderful! We have quite a few pupils with complex needs yet they were able to sequence the notes and copy Ian on the drum! They were all engaged and absolutely loved the music, dancing and waving ribbons. It was also so interesting listening to his question and answer time, he is so knowledgeble and linked so well to our Topic on the Windrush. "Where do I begin ? I messaged kevin about by wife’s birthday party and he replied almost instantly. We agreed a price the he asked for any special requests. My wife is a huge Billy Ocean fan so I asked if he could play that which he did brilliantly, my next request was fro Penny Lover by Lionel Richie as it was the first song we danced to, again great. Also on his rest period he played Billy Ocean songs on his P A. He was brilliant the whole time he was here having a laugh and a joke with our guests. First party after lockdown and Kevin made it a great party. My love of the saxophone never stops. All in all a great saxophonist and a lovely man. If you want a saxophonist book Kevin ?????? I don’t normally leave reviews but had to for kevin. He’s definitely the man to have."
