"I hired Modern Strings as a surprise for our wedding day and they did not disappoint. From initial consultation, through to the song choices, Sophie was hugely helpful and accommodating. We cannot thank them enough for making our day special – we had so many compliments about them from our wedding guests! We would highly recommend their services to anyone looking for an emotional, professional and beautiful addition to their day. George and Matthew x"

"THANK YOU very much for playing at our party, you sounded absolutely brilliant. We had loads of great comments, texts and FB posts from our friends and family about how good you, and all the other bands, were. We wished more people had got up to dance earlier on but sadly it takes people time and a few beers to get up and boogie!! The rest of the day and evening went really well thank you, thank goodness the weather was kind to us on the day! "

"We booked Dan through last minute musicians after seeing his glowing reviews and listening to his wonderful clips and videos online. His playing was every bit as wonderful as I thought he would be and more. His talented playing and gorgeous voice created a wonderfully relaxed backdrop and atmosphere at our wedding. Everyone said how much they loved his music and I am so grateful to Dan for helping to make our day so special. "

"We had the absolute pleasure of hosting Simon the  and it was a day filled with joy, music, and heartwarming memories! As Simon strolled through our home, the enchanting sound of bagpipes filled the air, creating a magical atmosphere that touched the hearts of our residents and staff alike. For many of our residents, this visit was more than just a musical performance; it was a journey down memory lane. The soulful tunes allowed them to reminisce about their Scottish roots, sharing stories of family members and recalling precious moments from visits to the beautiful land of Scotland A huge thank you to Simon for sharing his talent and spreading so much happiness. We look forward to more moments like these that make our home a warm and vibrant community for everyone!"

The morning was so manic, we were running so behind that I didn’t even get a chance to say hello or to thank you but that’s not to say I didn’t notice the absolutely amazing music. "Our guitarist was great. He played the Spanish music we requested and was kind to my elderly dad. Played happy birthday for us when he had his cake. Played dad’s favourite song to him. Friendly great guy! Would highly recommend. "

"Emma has been a pleasure, from making initial enquiries, the booking process, sending lots of useful information beforehand, and working with our DJ.... to her absolutely fantastic performances throughout our wedding evening reception. She was a huge hit with all of our guests, and she made our night! I'd have absolutely no hesitation in recommending you book Emma for your wedding, or any other event. She is simply wonderful."

"The Silvertone band were absolutely brilliant. the guys were friendly, excellent musicians and contributed significantly to the whole feel of the wedding. I would definitely recommend Silvertone, and in particular the two musicians who played. Many thanks for the excellent job that they did."
