Review Centre: Solo Musicians

"We had Nigel for our ceremony and drinks reception which took place at Mitchell Hall, Cranfield in July 2024. Our booking started as just the ceremony in Hertfordshire but when this venue cancelled we asked Nigel if he would be available for our drinks reception too and thankfully he was. From start to finish Nigel was brilliant, to communicate with and rely on and he also recommended a great singer when I asked for his help. Nigel is a very talented pianist and played a variety of song genres which we had chosen. Our guests were very impressed, not only with his talent but how lovely and interactive he was. He helped to make our day even more special. Thank you so much Nigel. "

"Mark is the ultimate professional in all aspects. He consults and liases with you and the other musicians/dj to make sure the vibe of your occasion is achieved to the highest standard. His sax playing is second to none .Everybody loved my party especially the music. Highly recommend booking M-Sax. "

"Lizzy provided an enormous repertoire of music for us to choose from for her 45-minute set. Her performance was spellbinding and kept the attention of all the diners. She was prepared to answer questions about her instrument from the diners both before and during the performance and demonstrated her theoretical musical knowledge well. Lizzy clearly has a good deal of experience in this type of performance and her arrival and set-up were very efficient."

"Jukebox James recently sang at our wedding. From time of booking, JJ was extremely helpful & accommodating regarding timings, choice of set list & learning two songs for us. His setup worked perfectly in a smaller venue and the backing tracks gave us the full band experience. On the day, Jim was very friendly & played & sang brilliantly. We really glad we booked Jukebox James & would highly recommend him."

"Luc has been a dream to deal with. Easy to book, great communication and flexible with song choice and had creative input on our ceremony and song recommendations. Luc's talent made our wedding day. Luc performed at our pre ceremony drinks, ceremony and post ceremony. Luc's solo during our ceremony allowed us to really take in the magic of the moment and his talent playing the harp is next level. Finding Luc was a gift. We would recommend luc to anyone. From the very start, Joe was a pleasure to work with – so nice to talk to, extremely responsive, and genuinely interested in making our wedding day perfect. What was especially touching and special was that Joe went above and beyond by learning THREE songs in the bride’s native language! The guests were so pleasantly surprised and loved that personal touch."
